2006 pa yung car, malamang malapit lapit na yan.
i would suggest having the battery tested muna, sayang naman kung magpapalit ka pero malakas pa.

kapapalit ko lang last sat. my 2sm motolite excel since nov. '01 finally showed negative signs ayaw mag one click kaya wala na check check palit na ko ng outlast diesel 24 months (4,000 including trade in)

kung matic mas maaga dapat, mahirap sa daan mamatayan ng battery. one way to check kung medyo hingalo na is use the hazard with park lights/dashboard lights on. pag napansin mong nagdi-dim yung dashboard / clock lights malapit na yun.

Agree. If your vehicle is AT, do not let your battery die on you.

After 2 years, better have a new one if you want peace of mind.

I'm using AC Delco since 07. 24 months lang yung warranty niya pero since last year, ang dali na ma-drain yung battery. mga 10 mins lang with the radio on, ubos na yung charge. Badtrip kasi I lost the warranty card.

i agree with this, every 2 yrs ako kung magpalit.

kaso yung motolite gold maintenance free na binili ko, 20 months pa lang, patay na! di man lang umabot ng 2 yrs! A/T stock lang po ang Rav4.2 ko (no upgraded A/V system) at wala akong naiiwang ilaw, accessories na naka-ON so very dismayed with the batt.

meron pang 1 month left sa warranty so let's see what the shop i bought it from and motolite does. iniwan ko yung batt dun sa kanila a few minutes ago.

if they don't stand by the warranty, hello outlast and hi other shops. dyan pa naman ako parati bumibili kasi walking distance lang sa min.

motolite excel has a warranty of 24 mos, gold has 21 mos. and enduro white with 15 mos. number of plates per "hole" differs them, with i think the excel has 15, gold has 11 and enduro has 9. (noon may 7 plates pa sa mga "itim at de tubig")

ipinalit ko Outlast Diesel (with 24 mos warranty) for my Crosswind, the cheapest among with 24 mos. warranty at 3.9K (my old motolite excel as trade in)

I don't recommend the 2SM Motolite Enduro unless kotse ang wheels nyo. Mine is crosswind XT 2004. Kung naka 2nd level ang aircon at 15 (or higher) ang volume ng stereo, the next day, hirap mag start. Pang kotse lang daw ang enduro sabi ng technician ng motolite sa Pasong tamo. Basta AUV daw mag 2SM motolite gold or higher.

just replaced my 5 and a half years old motolite battery. It still starts the car but it feels that its having a hard time. Since car is AT, replaced it for peace of mind. Cost of new motolite battery after trade in and discount P5900. Special type kasi, side terminals.

Replaced the OEM Motolite Gold that came with my new car after 21 months. Unfortunately, OEM batteries only has a 1-yr warranty. I bought the same kind and surprisingly, it came with 21 months warranty.

Apparently, Motolite Gold is calculated to fail in 21 months.

We have the same battery, Motolite enduro (2SM). Have you encountered hard engine cranking if the day before you set your stereo's volume more than 15 and your aircon was set to 2 (or higher)? If I do that, surely I will experience hard cranking on the next day. Last December 2008 ko lang nabili ang battery ko. That's why I plan to replace with with motolite gold 3SM next year unless there is other cause of the prob.
