Hello folks,
just joined JAWE's Amaron "index card club" yesterday.
got a DIN74 with 24mos warranty for PhP7,400 (w/o trade-in)
to replace 22month old Outlast Loaded DIN66 (15mos warranty) that was starting to give way.
was gone for a week and when i came back the starter wouldn't crank anymore. charged the battery but would only hold its charge for 2 days only.
JAWE's technician (name slipped my mind) cleaned the terminals then the battery plate and spray painted the plate black after.
Initial start? yes, starter was cranking like a madman!
Idling returned to normal as i noticed a drop below the usual several weeks ago with the old Battery.
and now... the 2 year observation period begins![]()
Hello! Looks like the number is no longer active... Any number for an Amaron distributor in Taytay-Cainta-Antipolo area. Heard a lot of good things about the brand. Thanks!
Kamusta na po pala battery niyo?
Ra Espejo - Masinag antipolo, alam ko may amaron din, don't know their number,
You may also check Amaron Philippines FB account should you wish to know the stores that sell Amaron batteries.
pag minalas ka nga naman!!
amaron hi-life installed on my jimny died. after 18 months of use. got the battery from Metrobatt.
Ah well... Nothing is perfect...

Heh heh.

Not gonna go back to Motolite for me. Motolite Enduro on the Montero died after 13 months of use, Motolite Gold on the Jazz in danger of dying already after 9 months of use. Amaron Pro on the Trailblazer, still running good after 12 months, registering 13.9-14.4 volts with the engine on
Kamusta yung Outlast XRM, may nakapgsabi sa akin na bang for the buck since mura at matibay. Meron bang user nito dito sa forum who can share their first hand experience?
Looks like over hyped lang itong Amaron. Yung 3SM ko parang bumubukol na yung side.
talagah... most strange...
i have been using cheapie cheapie non-diesel-spec'ed motolite champion in my bone-stock D4d for 2 years now...
with the trade in, i get it for 2140 bucks..
perhaps you have challenged alternator syndrome.. batteries deteriorate fast if left in un-charged condition for long periods..

Not isolated. My Amaron 3SM died last week. It can no longer hold charge. Bought March 2014, so still under warranty being within the 21 month period.
Driver just brought it to Powerstruck today, to swap with a service unit. They will call me once actual replacement arrives.
I feel bad, jumping on the Amaron bandwagon. Nadala lang sa hype. May pa silver silver pa silang nalalaman.
Will probably try Panasonic naman next time.
Yung sa akin naman na 2SM sa FX 2C, mag 2 yrs na next month okay pa rin!
