According to Great Wall's China website, the engine with 95ps and 225Nm is just the turbo direct injection version. There is a more powerful version with 116ps and 285Nm. Perhaps that is the CRDi version that they are talking about?

Perhaps any Hover owners here can comment about the car's performance? May hatak ba?
Last I remember ay 95 hp crdi ang nasa bronchure.
Tiningnan ko ang wingle nila dyan sa las pinas same engine as hover, crdi talaga siya. CRDI Common Rail Direct Injection With Bosch Turbo Charge.
And IMHO 116ps is still very low for a CRDi. Is your Chinese friend a Great Wall executive? Sabihin mo kaya sa kanya to bring their best engine here!Perhaps now is a high time for you to test drive the Wingle and perhaps post a review here as well?

Yes 95 HP ay mababa talaga for crdi engine. Pero considering na ang 4ja1 ay 82-85 HP but still able to power the crosswind, acceptable na rin ang power output for normal driving. Lamang pa rin ang crdi kasi wala na ang vibration & clatter that is norm for conventional diesel engine. Kung ang consumo ay about the same with crosswind (I guess) ok na rin. Wag ka lang makipagkarera talagang di pwede
My friend is not in anyway connected with any car manufacturer much less GW. We were in the same company before.
Pag may time subukan ko nga i test drive yang wingle or hover

Good luck nalang sa Statemotor,FMC at Great Wall Cars.
sana bumaba naman ang presyo for a chinese car... kasi yung pricing nila almost same na ng branded eh.. kahit pa madaming toys ang chinese cars... para mas sulit
pwedi ba mag bigay ng thumbs up lang for GW..
almost 1 year na Coolbear ko and i have no complaint!!!
3000+ kms and more kms to come....

The chinese are slowly improving the quality of their cars. Parang koreans dati. In a few yrs baka same level na rin sila. Good move yung pagtayo ng factory dito. It will improve quality ang bring down prices.
Wala kasi yan si rockiee_s dito sa Phils kaya he seldom uses his Coolbear.
Hindi pala totoo yung saying na " time will tell ... Dapat yata eh " mileage will tell ... "wag lang itatamper ha ! Hehehe.
Yung mga big boys nga like Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda and Isuzu will only have dealership booths for the MIAS.
hi guys. oo nga, low mileage pa lang eh. i only go home kasi every other month. pero when i use it, always out of town naman.
i will let you know pag naka 10k na ako. hopefully, ganun pa rin ang performance ni coolbear.
by the way, i also enjoy my new nissan march!!!!![]()
