    hi jefsan.

    thanks for the compliment.

i got the wheels (mags and tires) for 45k.

    tapos....

HID for 4K (naubos budget for retrofit eh, next time na lang)
    Bosch horn for 2k
    Garmin nuvi 1410 for 25k

didn't change anything sa interior. like it as it is. simple.

sige na, get one! i'll recommend you my SA.

I keep seeing a lot of GW Hovers around. Parang ang ganda sa paningin. The Coolbear is cool also.

Any idea if the engine is loosely 'based' on the Toyota 1.5 used in the Vios?

How much is a Coolbear matic?

I don't think the Coolbear is using the 1NZ-FE engine (Vios/Yaris engine), mas lower yung peak power ng Coolbear kaysa sa 1NZ-FE.

coolber a/t cvt is 765k. tapos its running with a GW engine (GW4G15).

sayang, i was not able to take pictures of the interior. but alot say that it is exactly the same as the interior of the first gen scion.

ganyan talaga ang totoong mayaman, bibili ng unpopular or somewhat perceived to be as an inferior brand pero in the long run, makikita mo it will pay off.

yan ang risk taker and that's how they make a fortune. walang takot, walang research-research na sobra comprehensive. walang data data gathering.

yan ang hindi alam ng middle class, kala nila sobrang talino ma-research, sigurado kumilos ang mga mamayan. di nila alam it's all about taking chances.

kaya i-fafavorite ko ang thread na'to coz i'm so excited with chinese cars

saka ang gusto ko ke rockie eh fit body, so ibig sabihin conscious din sya sa katawan gaya ko. that alone deserves my respect bec he knows what he's talkin' about , balanced body means balanced mind/thinking/choices

Hahaha for the first time you are right in one thing GM risk taking makes money, pero you forgot one thing... Cars DEPRECIATE. Assets that depreciate should not be taken risk on kasi even if you're proven right the car still depreciates... Assets that have the potential to appreciate in value like land, financial assets like stocks yes I agree some measure of risk must be taken to make more money. Risk-reward works I agree, but not in cars! And by forgetting that facet you FAIL Gen. Miting...

hi sg, yes very happy with my new ride.

    big time? no.

saka i do not believe that the type of vehicle equates to your social status (which unfortunately seems to be the general notion in the philippines).

i chose the coolbear because it is visually appealing to me. its shape and style is unorthodox. something that is not common.

it might also be that i have been living in china for such a long time that i am exposed to quality chinese brands. not the brands we have there in manila na pati dito eh di kilala. kasi class "d" or "e" kung meron mang ganun. and in mainland china, great wall is a relatively respected vehicle brand.

gen. miting, very satisfied with its ride. definitely better than my korean car. and comparable to my previous japanese car.

hindi naman yun depreciation ang iniisip dito eh. for one thing, if i have the guts of rockie and my investment paid off on chinese cars, eh di confident ako makakabili ulet ako ng isa pa chinese car like the hover naman.

coolbear + hover 800K + magkano yun isa say 1M, 1.8M may dalwa na ako chinese cars na para sa sarili ko eh durable at subok.

so have i shielded myself in aspiring for 2nd gen Toyota Fortuners or 2rd gen Sta Fe's with a 2.1M entry level price tag in the future. probably. oh diba. so yun pera ma-invest ko pa sa iba pa

actually, yan ang na-feel ko noon when I got the Sta fe as early as 2k6, others were simply brushing off my claims na okey 'to quality 'to, i have a sports car like suv at only 1.5M. eh ngaun, kayo naka-tucson, naka sta fe wala na din kasi ordinary looking na sporty suv meron na murano, cx7, crv, captiva common na. pati sa pulis paparahin na kayo ngaun, pero dati ako hinde never kasi nga kala nila naka-cayenne ako from 2006 to 2008 )
