Updates, almost in my 1k kms. The ride is surely excellent for me. Not so matagtag unlike the Forts. And it's not underpowered, for sure, specially when you engage to manual.

I've decided, next week, I'll have it reupholstered to leather na talaga, including sidings. Then i'll show the pics soon. Overall, planning to give a euro-inspired look to this ride.

I'm not really offended in any way, but to each his own, bro. I have Honda (Civic 2k1 and CR-V gen1) and a Mitsu aside from the Captiva. What I'm trying to say is, I'm happy with the moves I made in choosing the rides I got. I'm glad you finally chose what you feel is is perfect move for you. But that feeling is relative to different people.

Anyways, I'm glad you're happy with your choice.

I'm thinking of 18" or 20" basta wide profile tires like 235 or 245. And no, just got the FWD. 200k din ang difference ng CRDi na AWD.

May mga nakausap ako regarding sa captiva. Ang comments nila manipis o maliliit daw kaso-kasuhan ng captiva, is this true? Concern nila kasi sa condition ng roads natin sa pinas eh madali daw masira suspension at pang ilalim nito lalo na pag loaded palagi sya.

i saw a black captiva along katipunan ave, i think it was the diesel variant.. from the rear, it was good lookin specially the rear lights. from the side, it was so macho with the curves and the flares. the front was also handsome.. the exterior looks better on the road than when i saw it at trade center during campi's auto show.

but i found the wheels too small, i guess it needs wider and bigger set of wheels to complete the looks.

talo lang talaga ang chevrolet sa cost of parts and re sale value.. had the optra before and a friend had the venture sold at a low price..

malay natin, maybe this will be chevrolet's first high resale value vehicle, that is kung reliable ito at marami sa streets nito... plus points sa possible high resale value nito is its fuel effienciency because of its 2.0 CRDi VGT engine...

saw an green captiva near la salle in ortigas ave, all i can say is that its no slouch in overtaking as it overtook a taxi and an innova (both of which were gunning their engines).
