My initial inquiry with Chevrolet Quezon Avenue (Who took over the Makati Dealer), was that, it will take a week for them to copy the key, and encode the key ID. We have to leave the key with the attached bar code. I asked how much it would be but he said wala siyang pricing at the moment. We can order it daw at any dealer.
It's been over two months now and still no LTZ brown or white for me.
Maybe I'll consider again my 1st option- SF3![]()
On the 16th March I'm scheduling my initial PMS, sana mag fit yung spare oil filter ko ( mitsubishi ) sa TrailB, any idea how much per ltr ng Dexos mineral oil & synthetic oil for TrailB ?,
Finally have the price for new spare key with remote. My SA texted it to me a while ago. Blank key 5,250 / Key Cutting 3,500 / programming 3,000. TOTAL: 11,750
*RTS, dexos2 is only fully synthetic. It costs 800 pesos per liter. Mineral oil would cost around 200-280 pesos per liter.
Wow a very expensive key. Double the price compared to that in Thailand. Anyway to many still a small percentage of the cost of the Trailblazer.
Mas sakop nga ng SA or Service Dept staff ang pricing. Wish lang natin ang price below 7K
MBA bro, not an owner of Trailblazer here, but an admirer of it. Query Lang can you guys confirmed it to top Chevy management of their declarations sa oil Re: Dexos2. From this URL http://http://www.gmdexos.com/licens...sedbrands.html
Merton kse fine prints na ;
* Duramax is the exception and requires lubricants meeting CJ-4.
So ano ba Talaga? Clearly from the Trailblazer Manual it says Dexos2 but dun nag sa main website ng GM says otherwise.
The Duramax Diesel you're referring to are the Duramax Diesel V8 engines of GM that powers the Silverado/Sierra pick up and the Express/Savana full size van. It is different from the Duramax Diesel engine of the Trailblazer and Colorado, which requires an engine oil meeting the dexos2 specification (Oil Change Interval of 10,000 kms or 6 months whichever comes 1st), or CI-4 or CJ-4 15W40 oil (Oil Change Interval of 5,000 kms or 4 months whichever comes 1st) in the absence of a dexos2 compliant oil.

May immobilizer chip kasi tapos ipoprogram pa. Tapos iba pa hitsura ng susi natin. Hindi rin naman katulad ng Mitsubishi ang Chevy, the former uses aftermarket security systems that can be used by the stock key remote on the Monty and Strada, while the latter and other car brands use the original security system of their vehicles.
Yep, immobilizer is a good protection against carnappers. Yung sa monty / strada kasi after buksan yung pinto pwede na pindutin yung override button ng alarm underneath, near the pedals.Originally Posted by numbah5
