March 4th, 2013 11:53 PM #2915MBA bro, not an owner of Trailblazer here, but an admirer of it. Query Lang can you guys confirmed it to top Chevy management of their declarations sa oil Re: Dexos2. From this URL http://http://www.gmdexos.com/licens...sedbrands.html
Merton kse fine prints na ;
* Duramax is the exception and requires lubricants meeting CJ-4.
So ano ba Talaga? Clearly from the Trailblazer Manual it says Dexos2 but dun nag sa main website ng GM says otherwise.

March 5th, 2013 12:07 AM #2916The Duramax Diesel you're referring to are the Duramax Diesel V8 engines of GM that powers the Silverado/Sierra pick up and the Express/Savana full size van. It is different from the Duramax Diesel engine of the Trailblazer and Colorado, which requires an engine oil meeting the dexos2 specification (Oil Change Interval of 10,000 kms or 6 months whichever comes 1st), or CI-4 or CJ-4 15W40 oil (Oil Change Interval of 5,000 kms or 4 months whichever comes 1st) in the absence of a dexos2 compliant oil.

March 5th, 2013 12:27 AM #2918May immobilizer chip kasi tapos ipoprogram pa. Tapos iba pa hitsura ng susi natin. Hindi rin naman katulad ng Mitsubishi ang Chevy, the former uses aftermarket security systems that can be used by the stock key remote on the Monty and Strada, while the latter and other car brands use the original security system of their vehicles.
