ilang questions po about the cruze..

1. talaga bang malakas sumagap ng outside air - kahit naka "circulate" yung mode ng air con? problema ko 'to, lalo na pag may tutok na smoke belcher sa traffic

2. yung wiper parang ang lakas ng tunog... parang masisira sa lakas ng palo pag taas sa windshield... ganito rin ba yung experience nyo o sa kin lang?

3. pano po alisin yun tunog ng alarm pag nila-lock yung car? sensya na di ko alam pano gawin to

4. gano kalayo yung hagip ng back sensor? kasi ang layo pa... panay panay na ang tunog... so yung space sa mga parking or backing sayang

5. anong best way para i-fix na yung antenna...? para di ko na sya tanggalin from time to time pag public parking

bro, di ako cruze owner pero share lang ako input ko....
q1,2&3 > ask your dealer, sila ang mas higit na makakatulong sa iyo, use your right....
q4> nasa owners manual yan, ibigay sai yo ang tamang measurement ng allowance according sa tunog ng alarm.
q5> design na nya yun...pero kung gusto mo yung sharks fin antenna para di ka na tanggal kabit, mas cool yun, extra gastos ka nga lang........
O dikaya, lagyan mo ng epoxy pero di advisable.

1.) kapag po naka-on yung re-circulate, hindi po siya totally closed talaga. yung sa mga chevy vehicles po nasa 70% close lang (can't remember exactly it was a year ago when my Service Advisor showed this to me on my Captiva in my insistence) they'll offer to cover it completely pero hindi po talaga siya advisable na fully closed. Kapag naman po traffic you won't smell smoke. Kapag nadadaan ka lang(mabagal or traffic) sa mga tulay/dumpsites (amoy basura lang po kasi yung pumapasok hindi amoy usok).

2.) have it checked na lang po, kasi when i testdrove a cruze, di ko naman na-experience yan nung biglang umulan. pwede din po na baka hindi kayo sanay sa wiper ng chevy, malakas tunog pero ok naman talaga pag ka-wipe.

3.) hindi po ako sure kung same lang din sa inyo, hold lock or unlock yata yun, mawawala na po tunog. just try both na lang po. check na lang din po sa manual, it's there.

4.) 1 meter po ang layo, magstart na siya tumunog, pero pag malapit na talaga siya (mga 2 dangkal), buzz sound na po..

5.) can't answer this as i don't have a cruze yet. hindi ko pa na-experience kaya di ako nagtatanong sa Sales Agent or sa mga Service Advisor.

I hope I was able to help po sir. I don't own a Cruze yet () but I own a Captiva, and inspected, inquired, and testdrove the Cruze already. Para din kasi akong supervisor sa casa kapag nagpapaservice(they just let me, i'm a nosy kid and ask a lot of questions about cars and services kapag nandun).

Regardless if it's 3000K, 4300K, 6000K, 8000K, or even 12000K chief, as long as it's fitted to a non-projector headlamp housing, there will be glare.

For the Cruze's headlamps, I'm not sure but there is a possibility that the diffuser will have to be removed to make way for the longer bulbs of HID's. If not or sakto ang fit, then good, but if not - todo glare yan without the diffuser.

Cut-off is how the lights are emitted by your car, at night, point your lights to a flat wall and you should notice a pattern similar to this:

This cut-off ensures that you won't "blind" incoming traffic as the left side of the light throw is low (given na nasa kaliwa mo ang kasalubong mo going the opposite lane) and the right side is albeit higher to make use of the extra light on your passenger side (given na opposite side na 'to ng kasalubong mo, you can make use of the extra light on this side for spotting pedestrians in full darkness etc.)

Pag kinabitan mo ng HID ang halogen headlights mo without a projector, mawawala 'tong cutoff na 'to, hence nasisilaw ang mga kasalubong mo. Yung iba, ginagawa eh naghe-headlight alignment (eto yung kung gaano kataas or kababa ang bato ng ilaw mo) at sinasagad na mababa yung bato ng ilaw para maiwasan na masilawan yung kasalubong. Kaso ganun pa rin ito, masisilaw pa rin kasalubong mo kahit gaano pa kababa yan. At kung sinagad mo nga sa baba yung bato ng ilaw, safety mo rin mismo ang mako-compromise gawa ng nawalan ng sense na mag-HID ka pa kasi yung layo ng daan na dapat na naiilawan ng headlights mo eh in effect nabawasan din.

Actually, just went to macapagal a while ago to meet some of my old friends na naka cruze na din pala. Chances are they already installed some HID's on their Cruze. Very outstading. From a distance I thought its a BMW with stock HID, very nice but a little bit of glare.. It in fact it has a cutoff with its diffuser inside it. He never aligned or convert it, he just installed the HID kit 6000K (Caido), a Taiwan brand I think. Can't wait to have it on my Cruze as well... hehehe

1. In some instances there's some point that a bit of the smoke can pass through the recirculation vent but very very seldom on my part..

2. I have tried my wipers for several weeks now and never experience any of those noises coming from my wipers.
You can check your wiper blades if its to tight or have the chevy service center check it for you..

3. You can check it on your driver configuration menu on your Multi-info display where you can change it from sound or light displays. Just do some experimenting on it..

4. As far as I know my reverse sensor is quite accurate. You can ask someone to help you out to check each sensors when your reversing if each sensors have the same range or are all functioning.

5. Never thought of any.. hehe. When parked on public places, just pretend that its not that important and unmovable. Dont be obvious.. hehe Or you can put some small amount of glue in it like desert_fox has suggested.
Disadvantage or advantage: Permanent antenna.

Advanced congrats to you! AFAIK, yours will be the fifth Cruze sold by Davao! So far, there were 2 blacks, 1 gray, and 1 red. The red was also an LT AT.

I'll take that chances rather than the screw type antennas.. And if yun magnanakaw na yun is desperate enough to take your antenna, it will take him some time to remove the shark fin antenna unlike unscrewing it up that will be off in just few secs.
Anyway for safety reasons just remove the antenna of your cruze for the sake of it and take it with you.

Hello again, another noob question first time ko pa lang kasi nag drive ng AT (hehehe sarap pla) just want to know kung ano ang proper way ng pag-gamit ng sports mode (+/-) not sure kung tama tawag ko hehe, ok lang ba to change from AT to (+/-) kahit anong speed or kelangang mag stop ka muna or mag slow down? Kung mag change gear naman ako (+/-) dapat ba na i-release ko muna yung gas? hindi ko alam bakit pero nung nag test drive kasi ako, napansin ko na bukod sa ilang beses nag hanap ng clutch ang paa ko every time mag shift ako ng gear e hindi ko rin na tatangal yung pag apak ko sa gas, kung nasa half yung gas pedal then nag up/down shift ako same lang din yung lubog ng paa ko hehehe nakakasira ba to? and any info on the DO's and DONT's when driving an AT and or (+/-) mode hehehe, na approved na kasi ni wifey ang budget for the cruze and may good news pang dumating from awallit, ganda ng offer nya hehehe cant wait to tell my wifey about hes offer for sure go na go na kami hehehe! So I want to make sure I wont dmg our very first BNew car :D

Napakasarap gamitin ng Sports mode bro.....di mo na kailangan huminto, anytime pwede ka magshift from D into Sports mode and vice versa....

kung sa stop and go, much better sa D ka lang...useless ang magsports mode......
Sports mode, sa simula pa lang from D, ipasok mo sa Sports mode, makita mo ang gear# ka, of course unang arangkada, nasa 1.....then shift mo pataas(+) pasok ka sa gear#2...and so on...

kung nasa #4 ka at gusto mo umarakangkada o mag-overtake, shift mo lang pababa(-)....and so.....
