I went to Chevrolet Quezon ave earlier this morning. Finally saw a misty lake color, but the LT was displayed and therer's only white LS A/T. i couldn't tell the diffrence anyway by looking at them.
They'll be ordering the one i want pa daw, which is good news, i guess. Hopefully i can get the car when i get back in Manila by the December! kakaexcite!
I also saw a red camaro, hot car!
i took pictures - will post them later
I hope makakatulong and pagbalot. The high pressure line from compressor to the condenser is hot so I think dapat wala syang balot. It's the fan who will cool this down before going to the evaporator.
Napansin ko sa Cruze, the most efficient setting is to the lowest temperature (left most) then set the fan to 1 or 2 only. At this setting you will notice the compressor clutch engage/disengage intermittently. This converts to lower fuel consumption.
* T-mac... I have already placed my down payment for the cruze, but until now im still reading countless reviews, feedback's,etc from customers who have purchased the car locally and internationally... So far all I can say, the car is bullet proofall smiles from every single comment i read.. excited to get my black ls next week hihihi.. maybe try out the new petron blaze 100 octane for my first full tank LOL
Hi sirs, may naririnig akong cranking sound kapag press or release ng break during stop & go traffic.
Sir, come to think of it... very minor lang mga issues sa cruze. Like for instance the expensive maintenance, sa pasig ka nalang magpa- oil change. ang medyo major issue lang eh yung unit ni sir resident evil kasi collision parts and malaki yata damage sa body. The rest are pretty minor. We mention it here only for transparency and for the distributor to take notice para naman yung mga susunod na kukuha, improved version na hopefully iyong sa kanila. Example is the brake noise... di naman ganoon ka-grabe. Yung moist sa windshield, nawawala when you adjust the thermostat. The aircon... di naman ganoon kahina, medyo mahina lang in the sense na pagka naka #1 eh, parang kulang sa lamig. But if I put it at #2 then sagad sa coldest ang adjustment ng thermostat, kelangan ko na mag-jacket. he he
But AFAIK, sa 40,000km pa kelangan palitan spark plug natin. why do you want to see the spark plugs? may palya ba?
Sir, wala naman clanking sound sa akin. Meron lang slight buzzing sound. Pero sa ABS daw yun, and it's a normal thing.
just want to share you guys the car show *SMX MOA. I just saw the Chevy Cruze of BRE (Red and the Pewter Gray). Nice mods and very stunning.Searched for the BRE touring car, sad to say its not there.. But, its cool.

hmm.. the last time I encounter that sound is on my bro exalta STA. It makes that cranking sound whenever the brakes are new, very thin or worn enough to stop the car. Thats why whenever you step on/release the brake pedal, its making a cranking sound mostly if its a stop and go on a down slope.
If your brake pads are still thick and new, try to worn your pads just a bit by driving fast on a highway safely.
Sir Epats,
Sorry for delayed response.
Nothing has changed except improved fuel economy.
But I also experience the sound from the rear brakes others are hearing when in reverse. Doesn't bother me at all since my previous car (Optra) also made this sound.
There are minor noises that come and go. You know, just the plastics inside the car.
Oh yes, the plastics under the engine bay (is it called the apron?) also make a subtle rattling sound on rough pavements. It has made that sound ever since it was new. I have it in mind to fasten them with rivets or shim them with rubber so they don't rattle. When I have the time.
To sum up, 6 months and 7000 kms on the odo, and my Cruze is only getting better!
Will give you more updates kapag sure na talaga ako na may big difference.
Since hindi ako nakabili ng 'foam tube' I used a 1/4 thick rubber and used eletrical tape to fix it. If anyone can supply me with the foam tube (refund ko na lang) I will definitely redo it. The alluminum tape is very expensive, almost 1K kaya hindi muna ako bumili.
