Ok sir, notedPag bumbaba yung psi ng gulong ko (maybe around 34) try ko mag pa refill ng nitro. Thanks!
Whatever gas is inside your tire, it's the degradation of the rubber on the outside of the tire that's more important.
A mere change from 80% nitrogen to 99% nitrogen (the only way to make it 100% nitrogen is to mount and fill the tire in an oxygen free room...) won't extend the life of your tire that much. Filling up with "regular" air and making sure your tires are properly inflated at all times (even "pure" nitrogen will leak out of a tire over time) is more important.
Tried nitro for a while on several cars, almost no difference in loss of pressure over time, no difference in ride comfort, no difference in wear. If you've got good tires and a clean source of "regular" air, your tires will lose no more than 1-2 psi over that same three month period. If you've got good tires, you might not lose any pressure at all.
This is not to say that a pure nitro fill isn't a good idea... for motorsports or aircraft, where tires will face extreme temperatures and ambient pressure changes... but for road-going cars, the benefits are minimal to none.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I test drove the Cruze twice. Once last week and another test drive today, courtesy of Chevy Pasig. From one end of C5 to the other end and back. I like the exterior design and the cabin was very quiet - reminded me of my old Cefiro. The test unit had 20,000 Kms on it and there were no noticeable squeaks or rattles. Suspension is on the hard side, though (with stock 16" rims).
I am having second thoughts because Mitsu Marcos Highway has a big discount on the Lancer GTA (less 255K and zero interest for up to 60 months a minimum of 45% DP!). Chevy Pasig, on the other hand, has a rate of 40.98% for 48 months, which is high, considering that Mitsu's non-zero interest package (low DP promo) comes at a rate of 30.17% for 48 months. The sales manager at Chevy said they lowered the rate for me because I know someone from the "planta" and she also gave me a 25K cash discount. But it's still higher than the Mitsu rate. The only thing going for Chevy is they appraised my 08 Lancer substantially higher than Mitsu. But the GTA has more must-have and nice-to-have features than the Cruze LS (i.e. 7 airbags - one more than the Impreza, paddle shifters, 18-inch rims, etc.). But I do like the Chevy's exterior better (no offense to Lancer EX owners). And Mitsu does not provide test drives.
Does anybody know of a better Chevy Cruze deal?
BTW, the Mitsu discount is broken down as follows:
Cash discount - 155K
Apple/Sony/Blackberry/Speedlab bundle - worth 100K and convertible to a cash discount

Ako mismo mas napapatingin ako sa Cruze
BTW, the red Cruze LS AT that I test drove at Chevy Pasig has a 5-speed transmission only. Using the tiptronic mode, I was only able to utilize 5 forward gears. Sa isang brochure it's indicated na 5-speed AT lang yung LS. But the sales people there said lahat ng AT na Cruzes have 6 forward gears. Which is which?
