Btw: Since you mentioned that you want a head turner - not looking at the Lancer or the new Focus?
How is it when it's on 6th?

I'm considering the Focus, kelan ba labas nya dito sa Philippines? Also, I don't think my parents will give me an extra 200grand.

Then, about the Lancer.. not feeling it.

You'll only get to use the 6th gear on long highway cruises. City driving will only have you rummaging through the first four gears.

The new Focus is out already in the Philippines. I'd actually recommend the 1.6 Trend hatchback over the Cruze LS.

Pero dudes, okay na ba talaga A/T neto? I'm driving a Galant ngayon and manual sya tapos sobrang nakakapagod lalo na with the traffic volume in Taft kaya naisipan ko magautomatic na. Pa answer na lang. Thanks! :D

We might get Cruze, na test drive ko na rin, unang observation ko, ganda ng interior, solid ung build.. just finishing up selling our swift, and hopefully this week or next week, will get a cruze..

my SA gave me 30K discount lang though, LTO, visor, leatherette seat cover and V-Kool Tint, but might go 3M, mas gusto namin kasi super black... (bank PO).

Noong una, 2nd choice lang namin ito, at walang lance na available, but after test driving it, sold ako. :D

and lastly guys, I rarely see Cruze on our area, not that I don't like it, I actually do, as my other car (Tucson) ang dami! hehehe... 2 years na sya, ano ba feedback, why di sya naging kasing dami ng iba??

may feedback ba anong mga unang naging problem? or problem sa parts, etc, na serious.. not the Transmission, mas important sa akin ung mga mabilis masirang parts, kasi sa iba daming ganun.. lalo na pag bago model...

Had my Cruze 60k PMS recently. cost me 25k replacement of Waterpump and Timing Belt. * 40k pms I had my brake pads replaced for around 8k didn't encounter this with our Family's Altis and Civic and even Mazda. The Cruze although fun to drive seems costly to own. This is my real life impression. You can dm me nalang I can share my experience.

Love the car but the cost of ownership is kinda prohibitive and the premium seems not to be worth it. But then again this is just me.

    Peace guys!

Hi Guys, anyone else has the same sentiments as lakbay888? It's been more than 2 years now since the car has been released. I think this should be a good time get good feedback from owners. Thanks in advance!

My officemate owns a Cruze, ang tanging bad na narinig ko ay wala pa daw 1 year nagpalit na sya ng battery. Yun pa yung notorious na AC Delco.

I find the Cruze maintenance exorbitant. Assembly kasi lahat Im waiting for some parts sa handbreak for 1 month now. Cost will be 28k for the pair. For now I don't have a "working" hand break.
