Fuel consumption is relative to your route and driving, the compact cars(cruze,civic,altis,focus etc 1.6-2.0) given the same route and driving skills would basically have same fuel consumption. Some cruze owners have as high as 15km/l because their route is mostly highway while some(me included) consume 8-10km/l mixed city/highway while some have 6-7km/l because of mostly city and congested traffic.

The Cruze, arguably the best handling(best overall package) on this segment, you'll surely miss if you're going to zero-in to fuel consumption only w/o checking other variables.

I agree 100% and with the new management of Chevy, nothing can go wrong. I can attest to this since we have been helping our fellow Cruzers and Chevy Phils. never failed us. You can't get this kind of treatment from other car brands, I know cuz I am a Toyota owner before.

FC does vary according to your driving habits. I register 8 to 10 km/L on city driving while sometimes it reaches upto 14 to 16km/L on highways. Lagi ko itong sinasabi, don't blame yourself later on kung hindi Cruze ang dina-drive nyo, samanatalang kami ay nag-eenjoy at proud na naging Cruzer owner.

Hi guys, just had my cabin filter changed from the casa. Grabe, kaya pala mahina aircon ng cruze.. Ang dumi na ng cabin filter..!! Ngayon sobra lakas na ng blower ngayon simula nung napalitan na ng bago. Tip lang nung taga service is, try blowing the filter every month para daw parati ito nalilinis and para di magastos sa pagpapalit n filter! Woow!!! Loving my cruze more!!! tinuro pa sakun kung san pinapalitan ang filter... Kaya ayos na ayos talaga!! salamat chevy!!

dyan nyo sir malalaman na wala tlga problem sa ac ng cruze natin. madumi lang tlga ang filter kya mahina ang blower. hindi na masakit ang gumastos ng new filter let say every year ka magpalit kasi hindi naman sya ganun kamahal tlga and I think nasa 800-900 ang filter. Regarding naman sa paglilinis ng filter Sir, ang ginagawa ko kasi, monthly or twice a month pinapahanginan ko sa carwash ang filter ko, hindi naman din kasi ganun kahirap tanggalin sa cabin kaya hindi ka tatamarin na linisan/pahanginan to, at pinasasabay ko na din pahanginan ang engine. double purpose diba? hehehehe...

1.6 Elantra MT
1.8 Chevrolet Cruze MT
1.6 Ford Fiesta AT


Uwian sa Pampanga mga twice a month. Dko naman masyado gagamitin pag sa trabaho sa Metro Manila maliban lang pag may special event/gimik.

Road trip pag may surf session pa-minsan minsan.

27 years old Male, baka start a family na rin in 2-3 years time.

Agree with the reply above. Test drive it, kung pwede at least 2kms para ma feel mo talaga. Experience ko before sa Nissan, dun lang sa area nila yung test drive.

Value for money. Usually, if your aim is just getting fro point A to point B, not much sense in getting a fully loaded ride. Pero syempre, you might want a few amenities for a small price difference. Pasok din dito yung looks. :P

At the end of the day, it's still your overall budget you should consider. If you think you can handle the 3-5 years amorttization on the car, then go for it.

I'm a proud owner of a Carbon Flash Metallic Cruze LS/AT and never regretted getting the unit.

Wow! Congrats on the successful event!

Anyways, first of all, I'd like to say hello to all Cruzers, Chevy owners, and tsikot members.

Am a proud owner of a 4month old white Cruze and am loving this car.

Anyhow, is there anyone here who is an admin at C3-PH FB Group? I was a member of C3-PH until about a month and a half or so ago when I suddenly found out that I cannot access the Group from my FB acct for no apparent reason. Obviously my account was blocked from the group and kahit paano ko pagbali-baliktarin e wala naman akong makitang dahilan. kahit iSearch ko ang C3-PH sa fb ay laging "Content Not Found". Sinubukan na din akong i-re-Add/re-Invite sa group ni mtbjr kaso sabi "cannot be added to the group" or something.

Ako nga pala yung isa sa mga binaggit ni mtbjr na officemate nya na Civic lover who decided to get a Cruze [mentioned in page 37 yata of this thread?]. Kaya lang naman ako gumawa ng fb account e dahil sa C3-PH kaso di ko naman na maAccess yung group.

btw, nagMessage ako sa isang Admin ng C3-PH pero walang reply.

You are welcome. Kung mahilig kang maglinis ng kotse both colors are great looking. High maintenance talaga ang black kaya dapat matiyaga ka, konting alikabok lang kita na at kung hindi ka maingat kitang kita din ang mga swirl marks. I suggest na kung black ang kunin mo huwag kang magpa carwash sa tabi-tabi lang kundi iinit lang ang ulo mo pag nakita mong puro gasgas at swirl marks ito. Congratulation sa pagpili mo ng Cruze, hindi ka talaga magsisi.

hi mga sir. super fan ako ng chevy cruze. sabi kase ng friend ng dad ko "the devil" ,kaya tuloy hangang ngayon hindi ko maconvince dad ko s cruze, mahal daw parts & maintenance ng chevy compare s ibang cars like honda & etc.
