I thought the LABOR was FREE for the PMS?
Didn't a certain sales rep from Chevy claimed that earlier in this thread?
Just to compare, my Mitsu Lancer EX GLS 5,000km PMS costed only P2,900. Labor was FREE, including a quick car wash and free coffee/juice at the customer lounge.

The Cruze owner's manual specifies 93 octane fuel & our engine is capable of running on E10, 93 octane. I use Jetti E10 fuel & I do not feel any difference in performance.
Using higher octane fuel will not improve performance nor economy, in my opinion. Neither will it damage the engine, masakit lang sa bulsa ang mas mahal na fuel,Better to save the money & invest on engine upgrades to make it more efficient.
Yes sir GH, I believe TCCCI is learning from this incident. While this event is out of the ordinary, I do expect Chevy Philippines to work with their dealers to ensure this doesn't happen again. The people behind the organization have been in the Philippine automotive industry for over 50 years & they have a lot of experience. They would not have lasted this long if they didn't know what they were doing. They are appreciative of people like us & forums like Tsikot, because they get feedback from everyone, not only the owners.
re sa question ko about sa Gas using higher octane than required. Answer found at Wiki.Answers.com. Hope this helps.
Q: What is the difference between super unleaded gas unleaded plus and regular unleaded?
A:
Background Info
Almost all cars use four-stroke gasoline engines. One of the strokes is the compression stroke, where the engine compresses a cylinder-full of air and gas into a much smaller volume before igniting it with a spark plug. The amount of compression is called the compression ratio of the engine. A typical engine might have a compression ratio of 8-to-1.
The octane rating of gasoline tells you how much the fuel can be compressed before it spontaneously ignites. When gas ignites by compression rather than because of the spark from the spark plug, it causes knocking in the engine. Knocking can damage an engine, so it is not something you want to have happening. Lower-octane gas (like "regular" 87-octane gasoline) can handle the least amount of compression before igniting.
The compression ratio of your engine determines the octane rating of the gas you must use in the car. One way to increase the horsepower of an engine of a given displacement is to increase its compression ratio. So a "high-performance engine" has a higher compression ratio and requires higher-octane fuel. The advantage of a high compression ratio is that it gives your engine a higher horsepower rating for a given engine weight -- that is what makes the engine "high performance." The disadvantage is that the gasoline for your engine costs more.
The use of a higher octane fuel than required, is a twofold mistake. You are wasting money and can possibly do damage to the engine. Using a higher than require octane rated fuel will not increase performance, clean the engine, or offer any benefits whatsoever. If your engine was designed for 87 octane, then use only 87 octane. If it requires 91 octane, then by all means use 91 octane. The engineers who designed the engine know full well what octane fuel it needs. The octane rating of gasoline determines how much the fuel can be compressed before it spontaneously ignites. That is all it does! (Look in your vehicle's owner's manual for information about the octane requirements of your vehicle).
Now, some people believe that using higher octane fuel will clean out your engine. However, higher-octane fuel contains no more detergent than low-octane fuel. If you feel you need some extra cleaning, there are additives that you can get at the local auto shop, but do not use them too much or it will damage your fuel injectors.

Good evening.I'm new here in the forum..I need help Lang guys kasi nalilito ako eh Kung alin ang mas ok sa dalawa Chevrolet cruze ls a/t or Mitsubishi lancer ex gls..hope to here some good points on you guys..Tia
It was nice meeting some fellow cruzers today! We were only six but it's wasn't bad. A few others weren't able to make it last minute. But it was still interesting talking with other cruze owners.
btw, nice set-up sir dennis! of all the cruze units earlier, only his had the most mods
*whiteangel: i think you're asking the wrong thread. most of the people here are cruze fans. but honestly, if you're after speed and acceleration, go for the lancer EX. HOWEVER, if you're after comfort, safety, design, interior, practicality, and value.. go for the cruze. I honestly thought long and hard among the following: civic, focus, cruze, lancer ex, and fiesta (just because it was new) and I'd still choose the cruze any day![]()
Higher octane fuel is harder to burn if im not mistaken, so we might not burn it all off. Let's just use the required 93 Octane, enjoy naman ang ride e kasi naka Cruze tayo. Yeah men!!!![]()
