Depende sa DP and terms yung monthly amortization. If your DP is 50%, your monthly amortization would be less than 13K for 48 months at 8% interest p.a. Kung 60 months mas mababa pa. Pero mas mahal in the long run.
May car exhibit sa MOA 3 weeks ako and andun ang Chevy Cruze. I think they are having a promo that time. May binigay sa akin na leaflet kaya lang naiwan ko sa opisina, check ko ung promo nila dun. Update ko kayo.
In addition to DP and number of terms of monthly amortization, added factor din kung in-house or bank financing yung mode of payment mo. Usually, mas mababa palagi ang interest rate pag bank financing (and much better kung may promo ang bank for free insurance, aog, chattel mortgage). On the other side, in-house gives good freebies (subjective to your negotiation skill and promos offered by a branch), good discounts, insurance coverages etc. So there are trade offs between those two types of transaction. Bottom line is, before finalizing your transaction, you should be aware and comfortable w/ the monthly amortization and always factor-in unpexected expenses after sales (pms, battery change, etc). Unless babayaran mo in-cash, go straight ahead with in-house, w/ a good negotiation skills, makakahaggle ka pa ng magagandang freebies or after sales services (e.g. free pms)
Finally got my Cruze last December 10, a metallic black LS AT.
First thing I noticed is the fuel consumption. I'm averaging just 4km/L on stop-and-go city traffic. Grabe ambigat sa bulsa. Haayyy.. Dunno if it's just the Christmas season traffic, kasi it's really bumper to bumper everywhere I go. Or since my route is from Pasig to Ortigas Center which is really congested during office hours (compounded of course by the Christmas season. I noticed since December 1 mas lumala ung traffic sa Ortigas).
Last Saturday, I traveled from Pasig to Caloocan on a Saturday morning. Walang traffic from start to finish. That's C5 route to Katipunan to Commonwealth route. I averaged just 12L/100km or 8.3km/L, which I think is pretty measly. Ano sa tingin nyo? Kasi I was expecting around 10-12km/L.
Or it's just my driving methods. Any tips naman from my fellow Cruzers would be very much appreciated ;). Recently I'm trying the "free wheel" sa AT Cruze ko. Pag downhill, I go to neutral from drive. Nakakasira ba talaga to ng transmission? Sabi naman ng sales consultant ko, hinde daw. Pero I read some posts on the net which advises otherwise. I also go to neutral from drive during traffic light stops, which I think will not cause damage to the transmission. I can't compute pa for now yung effect sa FC ko. I-update ko kayo once I get the data from my car.
Feel free to comment lang po sa dilemmas ko. Salamat!
Parekoy, regarding sa free wheeling, delikado po yan lalo na kung tumutulin na ang takbo. Regarding sa FC, I started at 6km/liter city driving my my MT pero habang tumatagal nag-improve. My city driving now hindi bumababa sa 10km/liter while highway driving is from 12 to 14km/liter. Again, please refrain from free wheeling at delikado talaga ito.
Got mine about a month ago. Expected ko na agad na malakas sa gas because it's a heavy car (I felt it agad when I first test drove it). Motor Trend magazine said it's 300 pounds heavier than the Civic. In stop and go traffic, I average 5+ km/L. Parang Cefiro na AT din ang FC. What you can do is remove your spare and replace it with a tire-inflator kit, get lightweight rims, and use non-ethanol blend gasoline (ethanol-blended fuel has lower BTU ratings compared to pure gasoline).
I wanted to post some pics here of some DIY na ginawa ko using CF sticker kaso lang nakalimutan ko na kung paano gawin hehehe. Yong dashboard ng cruze ko pati sidings ang naka CF sticker na, pati outside side mirror, front grille, lower portion of the rear bumper, headlights eyelid, etc.
[QUOTE=woulfe27;1854323]You can upload the pics onto Photobucket or Flickr, then use the HTML tags to post them here
Where did you buy you CF sticker? And how much?[/QUOTE
I posted 2 multiple pics at this chevy site https://www.facebook.com/chevycruze. Got the CF sticker from Tees and Prints at 450 per 1x1 meter. Also got the matte black from them. Since I needed a heat gun, just bought this OZITI brand for 900, no need to buy those expensive brands.
Happy New year Cruzers! I have a Silver LS MT, ask lang po how can i make the care more lighter dahil parang mabigat talaga ang cruze natin.
Mga sir hingi naman ng tulong. I bought my Cruze LS A/T sa Chevy Pasig Dec 2010, si Abner pa manager dun. Dec 26 last year pinasok ko sa Pasig auto ko kasi stuck up gear shift pati susi di ko ma pull out. They told me sira daw yung Body Control Module and it will take 3 weeks for the parts to arrive, which means wala akong ride for 1 month. I wrote (e-mail) TCCI through their website contact details about this Tuesday night. No response so far. Would you know sino pwede makausap sa Pasig or TCCCI who can help me out?
Salamat mga sir.
Sir, dun sa facebook ng chevy cruze, maraming active users dun. Much better if you can post your problem there, i think dun na halos lahat active and maraming members dun are willing to help for troubleshooting. Aside from that, very informative din yung mga nababasa ko sa fb for cruze mods, events etc.
