I just came back from UST to pickup my my bro from the 400 year anniversary celebration. SUPER traffic. 9pm-3am i was on the road. I was half tank when I left home...but when i returned home i had 2 bars left.

I was stucked as well earlier before and after the toll gate. I thought there's no traffic cuz it's early morning but I was wrong. I had to sing out loud para hindi ako makatulog sa pagod.

i think yong pag-apak ng brake ang ibig niyang sabihin na medyo malalim.

you have to adjust the height of the driver's seat and distance para swak sa pag-apak. you can also tilt the steering wheel or make it forward or backward para swak sa driving.

Dahil nga babae yung nagdrive, di ayos ang adjustment ng upuan kaya siguro ganun ang feel nya sa brake...

para ding bilyar, need mo na gumamit ng tiririt ko pero pinilit pa din, kaya ayun tumapyok tuloy....

im here in Davao and i noticed Davaoenos love Chevrolet! maraming chevy cars, Optra, aveo... pero havent seen Camaro yet. ang daming Captiva and yung Cruze i already saw 4. 2 reds with plates na. One Moroccan Blue, and one white...that's a lot na cause I rarely see Cruze in Makati. seeing Cruze cars on the street makes me want to go back to Makati and drive mine. haayyy

also, the AVEO sedan and hatch are used as Cabs here, the latest ones. Holiday Taxi. comfy yung ride. pwede pala gawing taxi ang chevy dito? for sure other countries pwede but let's limit it here in the Philippines...

yup. tama si sir marlboro. compared daw sa vios na ginamit ni misis sa driving school and ung starex van ng father-in-law ko mas kelangan mo tapakan mas madiin ung brake bago siya kumagat. unlike dun sa starex e tamang tapak lang kagat agad brake. Dinala na niya kanina sa casa ung cruze namin and hopefully by monday nakabit na ung front skirt. Un daw kasi pang sundo nila sakin sa airport. excited na ko makita cruze ko.

After sales service here in Detroit and in US as a whole is an important part of the company's image (both the manufacturer and dealership/service centers). Hindi ka pwedeng pumalpak dito, the worst thing that will happen, korte. Example, Toyota's problem on brakes is still disputable but they just acceptted the fault as is, and did apologized to the hilt. They did pay. Sobrang bumagsak sila sa sales. Konting kaluskos na ingay, report agad ng customer. Kahit sila may kasalanan (misuse or something) kasalanan pa rin ng manufacturer o dealer. Puti, itim, asian, lahat mareklamo. Pero sa Pinas, pinalalagpas lng ang mga problema. Narealized ko, hindi tayo mareklamo, kasi kung magrereklamo tayo, wala naman mangyayari. (Kahit saan naman di ba?) Consumer rights sa Pinas mahina pa. Yun fallback natin na "PWEDE NA YAN" - "NORMAL LANG YAN", gamit na gamit. May isa sa atin dito na may signature na, "If you were born poor it it not your fault....if you die poor, it's your fault". I really like and love this line. Kung tatanggapin lng natin na "Pwede na", then we deserve what we have. From first hand experience, kahit sa allocation at design ng parts ng kotse, may difference between countries. The best quality is for those who demand for the best. Kung ang bansa mo walang malinaw na regulation sa quality ng kotse, pwede na sa inyo yun so-and-so na quality. Binabawasan ang rust proofing, gumagamit ng mas murang materials, binabawasan ang dimension ng parts, para sa mga di mareklamong bansa tulad ng mexico, pinas etc. Same model but different destination is honestly not the same vehicle. Yun kay smith kay smith, yun kay juan....eto na lng pwede na ito. Napapa-iling na lang ako sa upuan ko. Yun parts tulad sa mexico, mas mababa ang quality, pero mas mahal pa nila babayaran kotse kumpara sa swerteng amerikano. Kasi walang mahigpit na regulasyon at walang nagdedemand. Ang kultura ng mehikano pareho sa pinoy..."pwede na yan" culture. So we deserve the kind of vehicle and service that we have. I went to mexico two years ago for business. Laking gulat ko...para akong nasa pinas, as in! Kalye, magulo...eskenita...pareho, Pulis walang pakialam, gitgitan din. Wala nga talagang mag-seseryoso sa mga demands natin.
Going back to Cruze, Cruze is a special vehicle in my observation. Bakit sa pinas, standard na sa LS ang mags at foglights (at may reverse sensor pa!), dito sa US hubs lang at wala foglight ag LS....Kasi...yan mags at foglights ang gusto natin sa kotse. GM/Chevy knows our market demands these features...so they provide. "GET USE TO MORE" Sabi nga ng chevy.
I will be getting my cruze on 12/20 or 12/21. I really like galaxy white but my family unanimously voted for pewter gray. Congrats Marlboro2000...that is one white less for you. (...at the last minute, nagcomment pa kasi father ko sa white...baka daw may pumara sa daan.) Haaaa???? Buhay pa ba comment na ganyan? urrrrrgggghhhh!!!!

Going back to Cruze, Cruze is a special vehicle in my observation. Bakit sa pinas, standard na sa LS ang mags at foglights (at may reverse sensor pa!), dito sa US hubs lang at wala foglight ag LS....Kasi...yan mags at foglights ang gusto natin sa kotse. GM/Chevy knows our market demands these features...so they provide. "GET USE TO MORE" Sabi nga ng chevy.!

The reason why the phil spec Cruze have alloy wheels and foglights is simple, the other cars in it's class (Example: Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla) also has them. If Chevy sold the Cruze with only hubcaps and steel rims, it will surely be a big flop.

In the US market, the Cruze is probably taken as a cheap import which is setup and sold in the same way.

Yes medyo malalim pero malakas ang breaks ng cruze. Maninibago sa una but you will use to it pag nasanay ka na. Kaya keep distance pag medyo di pa sanay.

Yan din ang problem ko noong una na kahit mahaba naman ang legs ko ay parang hirap ako umaapak sa brake dahil nga parang sobrang lalim until i discovered thru a series of experiments yong tamang position.

The trick is >>> just adjust the height and move it forward hanggang sa comfortable na yong apak mo ng brakes and >>> adjust the sandalan slowly. You will notice na there is a big comfort once you got the "right" adjustments.

among it's competition right now, i would say "you'll never go wrong with cruze," that is if you won't compare the acceleration to your genesis. try to have a test drive and you'll be amazed that this car is above on the competition in terms of build quality.

besides, more and more cruze owners could never go wrong.
