would i get it the same day, after 1 day, or friday?

i really wanna get it thurs afternoon or early friday morning.

i have a thing on tagaytay this friday and im really hoping i could "break it in' there.

    i am sooo excited.

PS Theres a brand new cruze in our village here in bacoor. its black.
We are exactly on the same boat. My wife submitted the loan application papers yesterday. So they told her if loan is approved, the vehicle will be available by Friday.
    My questions are:

    1. What are the major points we need to check on the actual vehicle?
    2. What paperworks are we expecting to sign? What to check on those paperworks? Basically, before we sign to release the vehicle, what are the things we need to make sure of?
    3. What is PMS? Do we need to know it this time?
    4. Any other advice, please share too.

    Thanks.

If it will involve cutting of wires, etc. have your alteration done with your dealer in order for the warranty to continue. The mags and tires can be done elsewhere.

Noted bro. sorry im not techy also. so tho it states unleaded sa tank cover, i can still go for premium (higher than the 93octane)? THANKS for the inputs!

The use of a higher octane fuel than required, is a twofold mistake. You are wasting money and can possibly do damage to the engine. Using a higher than require octane rated fuel will not increase performance, clean the engine, or offer any benefits whatsoever. If your engine was designed for 87 octane, then use only 87 octane. If it requires 93 octane, then by all means use 93 octane. The engineers who designed the engine know full well what octane fuel it needs. The octane rating of gasoline determines how much the fuel can be compressed before it spontaneously ignites. That is all it does!

    1. My car owner's manual says that I can use regular unleaded fuel. Is it true that a car engine's octane requirements can increase over time?
Yes, and Caltex Gold and Platinum with Techron® have high octane that can maximise performance in cars with increased octane requirements. Over time, deposits can accumulate in your car's combustion chambers. These deposits can cause knocking or pinging, run-on or reduced performance, particularly if your car has driven over 25,000 kilometres. A high octane fuel can help you reduce or eliminate these problems (except the run-on). While some of these engines may be satisfied by the octane offered by our Silver grade, others may require the even higher octane of Caltex Gold and Platinum. If combustion chamber deposit build-up is affecting your car, Caltex Gold and Platinum with Techron® can help restore its performance. The unique formulation of Techron® minimises the contribution to combustion chamber deposits and can help limit your car's increase in appetite for octane.

Iba-iba talaga ang mga findings about octane ratings. Others say na masama kung over doon sa prescribed rating, sabi naman ng iba okay lang.... Hayz...... nakakalito

There are many reputable shops depending on your location that you can consult with. JC Car Audio, Mandaluyong san juan area. Mickey's Autosound, Pasig/Marikina area. Blueprint Concept Audio, Paranaque area. These shops will NOT touch/cut/splice any OEM wiring. They will install new wirings for new sets of speakers and amps. If ever sa iba mo ipagawa, make sure they to this. This is for warranty purposes ng oto, and mas madali magpalit in case you are bitten by the upgrade bug.

True, it really depends on your car's designed parameters.

    Watch and learn....

If your car is high compression, high revving, high performance car, high octane fuel will make the difference. Otherwise, using ordinary fuel recommended by the owners manual is OK.

==>Request to test drive your unit before finalizing. Check levels of oil, brake fluid, coolant, and especially washer fluid (yan ang unang naubos sa akin, and they charge close to 300 for a top up. Check the tire pressure, it's usually 40. Ask for it to be reduced to 32.

==> It depends whether your bank will issue a credit advise or a purchase order. If purchase order, you sign all loan documents at the bank and just give your downpayment to the dealer. If credit advise, you sign everything at the dealer.

==> Make sure you check everything on the vehicle checklist. There might be tick marks there that aren't actually in the vehicle. Like for instance lighter and ash tray. Check the tools also and spare tire.

    3. What is PMS? Do we need to know it this time?
==> PMS is preventive maintenance service. Ask how much it would cost if it's not free. If free, ask for the voucher.

    4. Any other advice, please share too.
==> I advise to be very very careful! you will have a lot of fans from now on....

dinala kasi ni Pancho yong CMP car sa meeting namin last saturday kaya nakita namin yong gawa na kasama ang sidings and the dashboard. Nasa facebook ang BRE bro and I suggest punta ka doon para maka-inquire ka 1st hand.

I can say na pulido gawa at maganda ang fit....

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! proven ko na yan. ha ha. joke.

Another thing I proved today is the efficiency of our brake system. Imagine I was running, trying to negotiate a blind-incline curve when all of a sudden, a little girl came running toward my front! She was looking at her playmate who's behind running after her. I'm pretty sure it would have been too late if I was driving my other car, because when I pressed on my horn and stepped on the brake, she was inches away. In fact, she still hit my front and hood, but less impact since I was already on full stop. Grabe! Now I can realy appreciate a 4-disc brake.

And... napansin nyo ba? Ang kapal ng kaha ng cruze di ba? kasi madami beses na ako natatamaan ng pedestrians and taxi's door. Pero wla pa naman dings or dents. (cross my finger)

Me too I want leather! Has any member gotten a genuine leather for less than 40K? I asked from casa, and the price is almost 60k.

Check your magazine shop, and look for the Power Wheels Magazine..there's a Chevy Cruze on the front. there's more pics of it inside. here's a pic of the magazine i picked up kind of a bad pic but that's the CMP car..the same car that sir Pacho brought to the EB last weekend.
