it's my first car so i really dont know what to check.. ano nga ba dapat kong i check?

Sir, meron dapat sila check list and let them run through the check list with you.

Do visual check of the fit and finish.
Let them orient you with how to use the car. Very important are the adjustments to make you feel comfortable in driving.

Another important matter i learned from this car is how to open the fuel lid. Its not like you pull a lever. You unlock all the doors ang gas attendant pushes the gas lid. At least it locks unlike the issue of the Fiestas. Im not bashing the fiesta ha mga peeps.

May nae-experience akong cranking sound minsan pag nag-pull ako ng hand break. Akala ko dati ay baka malakas lang ang hatak ko, pero kahit na mahina na ngayon ay naririnig ko pa rin ito paminsan-minsan. Any similar incident sa inyo?

I have the same experience from time to time since day 1. I referred it to the Service Advisor, and he said it's nothing to worry about because it's due to the self-adjusting parking brakes of the Cruze.

I finally got my Cruze, woohoo! :clap: ive been waiting for this birthday and xmas gift. i had it blessed today too.

For Cruze A/T, you really need to do manual mode from time to time going up Baguio to put you in control. At least wala ka ng clutch na aapakan. Try to turn off the aircon as well when overtaking on Kennon and Marcos highway.

In my case, I didn't have to turn off the AC. I made several trips already baguio-manila-baguio and it's effortless driving all the way. Of course most of the time, there's 3 of us, and not that many baggage.

It's been 8 months... and I still love the Cruze. Except for little plastic rattles, I have no complains.

ohh.... baka yung onting naka labas sa kanto ng bumper sa may tail lights? oo nga tagal ko na nakita yun.. lahat ng nakita ko sa casa ng westgate ganun mga bumper.

Napansin ko rin kanina na may nakausling portion yung rear bumper ko. Pag diniinan mo tsaka lang papantay, pero pag binitawan mo ay balik uli sa nakausli.

Yes it really depends on the number of passengers you have and baggage on it.

I studied and worked in Baguio for 17 years until I transferred here in Manila in YR2K so I can feel the excitement how you enjoy the Cruze driving Manila-Baguio-Manila.

I remember waking up the next day to make sure the Cruze was really in front of my house...and to be sure I wasn't dreaming. Enjoy it!


Just got back from Baguio. Super traffic..we left around 12pm and made a few stop overs and we ended up arriving home around 12am-1am yikes! Super traffic along Macarthur hway.
We ran around 600km during the whole trip.
Total average of the whoel trip was exactly 11L/100km or 9km/liter. It could have been much better but we were in traffic for more than 3 hours on the way back home(the moving 100meters in 30minutes type of traffic). I think there was a fiesta in one of the towns kc.
My fuel consumption from Cavite to the bottom of Baguio was around 7 to 8liters/100km or 12.5km-14km/liter. Along SCTEX and NLEX i was able to hold 14km/liter easily..and it would sometimes drop to 6.8L/100km.
When we reached Baguio my avg was only at 10.1L/100km or nearly 10km/liter.

It was a lot of fun, very comfortable when driving the Cruze. I took it to 130kph and could have easily done more like others said..and this is with a trunk full of souvenirs, it can definitely haul ass. It's like the Cruze takes a look at the 130kph+ and shrugs its shoulders and keeps going. The Cruze loves to run on the open road w/ matching good fuel consumption numbers, as for traffic..different story.

wohoo..tagal byahe nio sir.. same lang tau. pagbaba ko i left baguio 1pm exact. tapos 7:15pm asa house na kame here sa qc. hindi nako nag cavite pagod na. hahahaha sa SCITEX i tri kung gaano kabilis poero malas ata . that time ang dame bantay sa SCITEX, kaya nagawa ko 155kph. ang ges what, i feel humihingi pa siya hehe/ sayang sir hindi manlang tayo nakapang abot. light gold na cruze lang nakita ko sa baguio....

- about the bumber near the headlight, I noticed it na when the my Cruze was delivered and Chevy promised to fix it.. though im having second thoughts kasi babaklasin daw ang headlight to have it aligned

- On the hand brake naman, napasin ko din po yun kaso hindi ko pa naitawag sa SA ko although 2x pa lang ata nangyari sa akin...

- on FC, i travelled 100km and got 13.7km/l. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to monitor FC on city driving but I noticed mas matipid ang consumption kapag nasa 90 to 110 km/h (by just looking at the information center)

Ask ko na din po, did you notice any wavy paint sa may skirt ng Cruze? I showed it to Chevy and they are willing to fix it naman but it would take them like 3 days.. would like to know kung may mga ganyan din sa ibang Cruze?

No need to turn off the AC unless kung abnormal ang temp ng makina sa incline driving(overheating)....sa overtaking, kung sa D, push the accelerator pedal down to the floor(malakas ito sa gaso),otherwise use the manual mode,select the proper gear and speed off...

oo wait lang tayo ke broRE sa Cruze nya, baka naman nag-eenjoy na sa loaner car na Cruze din....

and no SIR bro, pareparehas lang tayo dito magkakapatid kahit nagkaka-alaskahan...kahit na yung iba mas magaganda auto o luma...o mas marami...

Dont worry bro, mas madaling maaayos yan sa iyo, condenser lang papalitan jan...if i were you, panayin mo follow up mo sa piyesa, yan ang mahalaga....kung walang piyesa, walang gagawin ang mga technician....kung nanjan na ang piyesa, kahit sa ibang dealer pwede mo na ipagawa kaagad.

Matagal ba ang parts? Sana sir ma picturan mo rin, so makita namin the damage of the debris from the road.
