I learned to accept the fact that I am using an american car.
ah may button pala somewhere para i close? in this case. pwede ko na pala hindi ipa-deactivate. My Cruze will arrive this Saturday, the 27th daw kase... i thought about deactivitating but since may button pala - i guess hindi na...

    thanks for the information!

walang button ito para totally i-close. it's the button for outside air and recirculate selector lang. but even if naka recirculate ka na option, there is still some outside air that enters. baka special yung cruze ni marlboro.

simple lang naman ang solusyon sa problema niyo eh, huwag ng bumili ng cruze kung para sa inyo big deal ang function na iyan. at least alam niyo na - na may papasok na amoy usok or mabaho kapag hindi mo pinindot yong button na yon.

there is this selector not to let the air enter and let the circulation of air internally which eventually will cause dizziness kung pinatagal dahil walang fresh air na pumapasok.

better siguro buy na lang ng japanese cars?

which button are you talking about bro ? As i have said, the recirculate button at the bottom left doesn't totally close the air vent as a "safety feature". LS din cruze mo di ba? impossible namang may extra button yung cruze mo.

this is not an issue for me because minsan lang naman nakakapasok ang outside air. up to now naman eh amoy bago pa rin yung cruze ko. medyo confusing lang kasi yun sinasabi mo, lalo na sa mga future buyers ng cruze, na may option to totally close it.

Haven't see the automatic vent works for the cruze. However, it should work like the manual. Pag naka ilaw ang circulate button, the vent is close from the outside but open from the inside of the cabin. Its the vice versa pag naka off.

Now, cruze has this feature na automatically opens to get fresh air - the vent opens temporarily and close in just a few seconds. Mabilis lang per my observation.

If you turnoff - the vent remains open from the outside then turn on again to close. This is to override the automatic function. But it doesnt help dahil mabilis nga lang nagsasara agad. Nawawala na yun fumes from the outside.

If naka circulate on dapat fully closed ang vent otherwise we can still smell fumes from the outside. So ang cruze hindi naka partially open. Fully closed if turned ON (with automatic open function). Open if turned OFF.

Alam ko dalawa ang filter isa sa loob and isa sa labas. Yung sa labas halos di na pinapalitan yun. Yung pinapalitan/nililinis during PMS I think sa loob yun. Pag mabilis dumumi meaning the blower was always set to high (3 up) or madumi ang cabin . Kaya dapat laging malinis and pagpag ng matting paguwi.

this is what i know as well. but based on what marlboro is saying, seems like it can be closed all the time.

Based sa sinabi ko sa taas, para wala akong sinabi na totally magclose ang ventillation kaya ang reply ko sa kanya ang "manual kong sinasara" referring to the recirculation button. Low-end lang ang cruze ko at walang special button.

did this on the a/c filter of my 2004 sentra, nag-spy ako sa casa on how to replace the a/c filter kasi bukod sa mahal sa kanila yung filter may labor pa kapag kinabit. using a powder detergent you have to mix it with a considerable amount of water (enough to totally submerge the filter) parang damit lang na binabad, hehe, and give it a little shake.makikita niyo yung dirt sa filter,it will loosen up tapos give it a good rinse sa running water.patuyuin lang ng maige (direct sunlight) then the filter is good for another 5k to 10kms.next na hahanapin natin is kung saan nakakbili ng same a/c filter for our cruze.yung sa sentra kasi 2k kapag sa casa ka bumili plus labor, nakahanap ako sa banawe (store sells genuine nissan parts) P800 lang presyo.we need to find that store who sells the same shape/size of cruze's a/c filter then post it here para tayo na lang ang magpapalit ng mga a/s filters natin.this will save us all considerable amount of time and money.

wala na kong pinagalaw sa loob ng headlamps, medyo inadjust ko lang pababa yung headlamps (may adjustment ng up/down sa body nung headlight assy madali lang makikita when you open the hood) sabog sya kaya lang nakatulong yung pag-baba sa adjustment.

Chevrolet had a lot to celebrate last weekend as the Cruze not only captured both the manufacturers' and drivers' titles in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in Macau, it also claimed two podium finishes in the Philippine Production Car Championships at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

As Yvan Muller captured the WTCC drivers' title to seal Chevrolet's win in Macau, Cyrille Fontaine drove the Cruze Philippine Touring Car (PhTC) to third place in the November 20 race, and to his first win on November 21. This boosted the Chevy Cruze PhTC’s chance to score more points as the final leg of the race series winds down in January 2011.

The Cruze PhTC's victory is a big achievement for Blanco Race Engineering (BRE), which is on its maiden season.

"This victory is the result of the team’s hardwork and passion for the brand," BRE team founder Francisco "Pacho" Blanco said. "We are grateful for everyone that worked hard for it. This new season for Chevy and BRE gives us more excitement which strengthens our bond that will definitely be beneficial as we continue our participation in the many Philippine races in the near future."

The Cruze PhTC is a manufacturer-backed race car in the Philippines that is presented by Chevy Motorsports Program of Chevrolet Philippines--the Covenant Car Company’s motorsports arm in partnership with BRE.

"We, Chevrolet Philippines, couldn't have been more proud of Chevy's accomplishments in the racing circuit both international and local," company president Atty. Albert Arcilla said. "This championship further reiterates the power and performance of the Chevy Cruze, dominating not just the highway but on the racetrack as well! We congratulate the team that made the back-to-back wins possible. We look forward to more success for Team Chevrolet."

don't if this was discussed earlier...

to AT owners, did you notice that there's no deepstick for the transmission oil? or this new generation of transmissions doesn't need transmission fluid anymore...
