just got back from their dealer sa makati. to be honest the cars don't seem too bad, at least from the showroom floor. doors and switches feel good, the seats are comfy too. the shifters don't feel right though, very loose movement. and the panel gaps are HUGE. the real test will be whether or not they can stand the abuse of time.

a proper test drive is in order...

Related ba sa Yupangco ito? Kung Yupangco ang financing nyan, naku sobrang laking interest nyan just like un mga musical instruments nila.

Malamang talagang d tanggapin ng mga banko yan.

    Guys,

Lets give proper feedbacks sa Chery QQ. Im sure marami dito very tempted to buy. Dalawa na kami ni Proxies interested. Hope we could discuss the short comings and not bash it all away like its "poorly copied, ugly, panget, walang originality". Okay na! Tama na!

Lets move on. Those who wanted to test drive it, please give proper feedback and pointers to people who wants to dare buying one.

I'm not bashing it when I say it's poorly made, indifferent build quality, cheap materials, etc. That's just the way it is. I don't get paid by car companies and they have no say on how I review vehicles. Yes, it's leagues better than a jeepney, but it's far from even a Hyundai Pony (do you even remember that car?). Hehehe.

A proper test drive is really in order, but I wouldn't get one just on the basis of build quality alone. Build quality, btw, is different from reliability or long term quality (those are still up in the air). But how crappy the build quality is, is pretty apparent. Just try slamming the door. Look at how large the panel gaps are, touch the Orocan interior plastics.

But hey, its a free market. Buy one if you really like it. But don't say the people here didn't warn you. As with any consumer good, it's always buyers beware.

In the meantime, I'd rather stick to driving my 30 year old beater.

Some of their cars have really bad quality. The QQ's doors need effort in closing the doors. I agree with the seats, its plush. The dials of the aircon feels loose like there is not much effort to feel that its solid.

I believe the QQ is better in safety than the Suzuki Carry that is priced at P350,000. The QQ's interior plastics feel cheap and you can really see the gap if you look at the biege color.

Sana naman maganda ang quality ng engine & mechanicals... After a year will prove the reliability. Theres is no 2nd car in the market that can go 25 km/l with Euro IV compliant and a bonus of ABS and EBD. Makes me feel at peace with Greenpeace nerds.

Sana naman, sa mga owners dito. Please feel free to visit this thread and post. Your feedbacks will be appreciated. Wag nyo na isipin yung mga posts dito who are discriminating your car of choice. Iba dito safety talk ang issue tapos naninigarilyo pala. We all have our beliefs, and safety isnt my top priority. I die, I die. May pagpipili-an ka ba? Even the safest car is not the safest, may fungi, protozoan, algae etc etc yang kotse mo... Kahit ibabad pa yan sa lysol di mamatay sila.

Peace! I respect your priority of safety please respect mine. My belief is that 80% of safety comes from you.
