I was able to talk to an officer of the Hong kong Police. They said the Chinese people and the Motherland hate the Japanese and the Koreans. They dont trust these people...And then I ask him, how about Pinoys...no problem....friends daw.......naluha ako.....

i went to the showroom this afternoon. yung likod ng Tiggo may decal that says "New Concept Vehicle" hahahah.
I also asked the SA kung based yung QQ sa Chevrolet Spark, he answered na "sir european design po yan!" hehehe
I admit, I was impressed with the Eastar.

July 22nd, 2007 09:01 AM #444Hindi lang naman daw sa Shanghai nakikita ang Chery. Usually GM and volkswagen ang marami dun.
There are different parts in China. China's so big.
Recently, we were at the Chery launch... Baka raw maging P295,000 ang QQ.
Baka lang ah. They're still not sure.
QQ is cheap, yes. And perhaps since cheap ang price baka cheap din ang maging trato ng mga Pinoy dito. It depends on you.
There are many skooters there that are Chinese...

295K na QQ?Most likely yan yung walang airbags at ABS...

that's why we shoud be happy kasi mga kababayan natin makaka-afford na ng sariling tsikot
China has more potential than Japan or Korea. sa laki ba naman ng land area, malaki din mine field nila ng metal to be used sa cars. sa Japan siksikan na dun. they have to reclaim land just to built an airport. parang singapore lang yun, intellectual rights na lang ang binabayaran mo premium sa price ng cars nila.
let's face it, japan, korea and even our very own PHUv dream no match sa future Chinese cars. they have all the resources and even the cheapest and the biggest manpower.Last edited by oldblue; July 22nd, 2007 at 02:35 PM.

Hindi pa daw yun yung 2.0. Wala pa daw silang dinadala na 2.0 dito.
sabi pa sakin bababa daw yung prices ng cars nila in the next few months.
Also sabi din sakin na mukhang mercedes benz yung loob ng A5 which made me laugh heheheh.
In fairness, nagandahan ako Eastar.
Yung tiggo, cowin, qq pangit yung tunog pag sinasara yung door. Hindi rin nakukuha sa isang sarahan.Last edited by carlocaraddict; July 22nd, 2007 at 04:53 PM.

I find the tires of Tiggo really ugly.. parang hindi sha fit sa design..

July 22nd, 2007 05:43 PM #449Nothing for design or having an intent of buying a good design.
A diff Chinese car comp w/ a diff strategy would work.

July 22nd, 2007 08:59 PM #450Pero sa ngayon, the crap-quality of Chinese cars is currently at the level of *cheapshit*. Thus, sa ngayon, super cheap car-pricing = super cheapshit quality
Seriously though, let us not forget ladies and gentlemen that it took a decade before Hyundai can get to world-class quality levels (ie. Veracruz). It took years for them to get to where they are now...........and the same will apply to the Chinese auto brands. We're just not sure as to how fast they can improve.
So as of year 2007, THE CHINESE AUTO BRANDS ARE NOT THERE YET.
These China cars have a LONG way to go.
Somehow I find this hard to believe as I hardly see any new Chevys on the road. :(
