Parts should be cheap. Service is a big "?"... we'll see how it is when people start buying them... durability? An even bigger "???". A lot of people report that the durability of Chinese-built engines is questionable, but we have yet to see if they've built in improvements for these export models.

Monday afternoon, me and my family went to Chery Cars Libis.

we went to see the QQ3. my mom and sis wants a small matic car.
wala palang ABS nor Airbags ang any QQ3 model. not even the top 1.1L MT. mali mali ang info kase mostly fully loaded yung naka lagay sa brochure pero iba yung sa actual unit. the Cowin for example has sunroof, all power and has dual airbags which the actual unit on display lacks.

from the looks of it, the QQ3 is cute, nice bright colors of the exterior, adequate space for a minicar. tach, AC, CD stereo, 60/40 rear seats, 5 seatbelts and mags are standard on all models. .8L MT at 319k is bare, not even power steering is included.
.8L Semi Auto adds all power including side mirrors, foglights * 373k. 1.1L MT adds rear wiper and side skirts * 349k.

my sis is amazed by the semi auto tranny function. para kaseng manumatic, Neutral, Reverse at there's a button saying "auto" that corresponds to Drive in a conventional matic. tanong eh, kung gagana sya as expected.

doors, in fairness, slams like that of Hyundai Getz. solid naman. paint on some nooks and hidden areas are rough. the trunk has no upholstery and exposes a rather rough and needs some finishing touches on its paint. parang kelangan pa ng top coating hehe...

yung hood popper and door handles, parang mashadong malambot at mapuputol agad. i had a hunch na panget yung tranny kase nung ginalaw ko, i tried shifting ng nakatapak sa clucth pero ang ingay nya..

the V5 looks good. may sister said it's like the Grandis. the leather smells like that of my friend's Volvo S60. wood panel is not too much. doors slams good. i just hate that there were 5 or 6 blank buttons near the shifter same as the A5 sedan which looks like a skinny 2003 USDM Nissan Altima. Tiggo really looks like gen2 RAV4 at the rear. hindi ako nag concentrate sa ibang models mashado. talagang QQ3 lang kase trip sana.

well, the QQ3 seems nice and cute little city car. but when my mom thought of the quotation given to us, we then all thought that an 05-06 2ndhand Picanto matic or Getz matic seems more like it.

Copy ng ano? Matiz nga ba talaga? So, is it safe to say na kapag bumili ako ng Chery QQ parang nagme-maintain ako ng Matiz?

Kapag China cars talaga pinag-uusapan parang nagiging maganda agad ang quality ng koreans. Although maganda naman na tlaga ang mga koreans ngayon. Yung matiz of 90s eh isa sa mga kasama pa era na medyo 50/50 pa ang koreans.

congrats sa ride sir, is that the automatic version? kasi yung manual version ng 1.1 engine nila ay yung walang masyadong amenities and cost only 319k yata...

just keep on posting dito sa forum sir regarding your feedbacks sa QQ3 ninyo to keep us informed sa quality, durability and performance ng cherry...

by the way, 15km/L is a good mileage narin for a 1.1L car.

maganda naman ang QQ tignan, the only downside is its questionable ability of securing the passengers in the event of an accident...

imho, I think this car best fits for city driving only where average speed should be around 30 to 40 km/hr lang.......para medyo safe pa din in the event of a collision

Talagang marami na. dito sa northern luzon very agressive ang Amianan Motors hindi tumitigil ang caravan nila. alam ko may casa na ng chery sa Santiago City, Tuguegarao, Pangasinan at Ilocos talo pang mga Koreans at Japs

Sana pag pumatok ang Chery, mag-assemble sila at lagyan ng local parts ang Chery para madagdagan naman ang trabaho sa Pinas. i think Chery is using the facilities of Francisco Motors. I hope Chery can help FMC-Anfra revive its operations and build more vehicles with local parts.....

CBUs are of no help to our country like the Picanto, Gentz and other Korean, Japanese, Indian, US, European, Chinese brands and the dreaded smuggled vehicles from Subic, Cebu, and Port Irene.

Currently Marami ng waiting and reservations ang Chery qq3. FIY, dadating na ang bagong 100+ import na qq3 at Tiggo this January 28, 2008, I believe, makakarating ang mga newly import this 1st week of February sa FMC.
