it depends on the user/owner how he handled his car and the unit itself. baka naman junkk na galing china yang binebenta ng amianan na yan? dito sa amin wala namang QQ na dinala sa service center para ayusin. inspect the unit before taking it home. like test drive it. dont act like stupid if you experienced the after-effect because its a doze of your own medicine. you didnt inspect the unit and didnt test drive the unit. now look what happened?

peace bro....

Had my first hands-on with some chery cars earlier at the MIAS.

The interiors really are a sea of hard plastic, but I couldn't find noticeable gaps between the panels.

Seating comfort is also wanting. (though this was probably affected by lounging in the focus' absolutely comfy seat a minute too long)

Also, at least with the cowin, the doors are really hard to open.

I was 17, I think. You'll need your birth certificate (and parents' consent form) if you're less than 18, AFAIK.

Grabe, 13-14 ka pa lang?!?!

Anyway, here's a link for you: http://www.lto.gov.ph/requirements.html
Nandyan na lahat sagot sa itinanong mo.

And to get back on topic, I hope the Pampanga dealer for Chery are already LTO-accredited.

Im a chery QQ owner. My name is Carla Rocha. I bought a blue Chery QQ 0.8 Manumatic. So far I'm happy with my car. You may not believe it, but Iam so fond of my car that I decided to work for chery as an account executive. Im now currently connected with Chery Libis and I use my car going to work everyday. Im very satisfied and glad I bought it. Performance-wise its perfect. Im very sad about Gary Jolly's concern. If what youre saying is true, I believe that you should either get a refund or a new unit specially if youll be able to justify your complaint. Even tho Im very satisfied with my unit, I suggest anybody who's considering to buy a car to thoroughly check their unit first before they get it. This goes with any brand of car hindi lang Chery. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY AS CAR BUYERS TO MAKE SURE OF WHAT WE ARE BUYING. Dito kasi sa Chery Libis we are very strict and me as a Chery owner I can directly relate to my clients. I check the unit myself if necessary. Kung nacheck mo rin kasi itong mga damages nato sooner, or even before you drove the car out of the dealership, wala sanang problem. You could have made your complaint right then and there. Mahirap patunayan. And hindi lang ito sa Chery. I worked in Honda. So I hope this serves as a reminder for everyone. Check your unit first. Bring a mechanic if you have to. As Ive said, the responsibility is ours. Kahit Mercedes Benz pa yang bibilhin mo.

Yung Chery, kung di rin -i-assemble dito. Wag na rin bilhin.

Kaya mag-isip muna tayong mga Pinoy bago bumili. Bili tayo local kasi matibay.Nakatulong pa tayo sa kapwa pinoy natin. Tulad ng Anfra, Tsikot PHUV, AMC hammer. Puede na rin Ford, Toyota at Isuzu.
I think the Chery's are locally assembled. They're assembled at the same plants ANFRAs are.

Are Isuzu's locally assembled na? I kina thought they came straight from Thailand..

The ironic thing with the AMC Hammer is that the main engine and chassis are from a Nissan Patrol. So it's possible that the donor Nissan Patrol used might be a smuggled unit too.
