May 27th, 2008 12:17 PM #1181Sir note_genius,
I think you need to talk to the head of sales where you bought your car and make a big fuss na. 7 weeks is too long to wait for your OR/CR papers. You're right I guess I'm really lucky with my SA and dealer (Chery Global City at The Fort) because I got my car plates after 24 days. It was the SA who advised me that my papers and plates are ready for pick up instead of the other way around. So now I can drive confidently and look at the MMDA and LTO guys straight in the eyes dahil no reason sila to check on my papers and look for kotong possibilities. I hope by now you've got your problems sorted out.

May 28th, 2008 12:57 AM #1182The newspaper advertisements also mention that the official car to the olympics is the Chery Hybrid something... Is this car a hybrid because it has a hybrid electric-gasoline engine, or is it a hybrid because it is a cross between a van and a car or something like that?

May 29th, 2008 06:55 PM #1183tiggo upate:
a warning lamp in the form of a wrench lighted up on the dash board of jack ( my tiggo's name because i find it nimble and quick ) the other day.
I called chery buendia and they told me it just needed a change oil and will light up every 5000 km to remind me it needed a change oil. True enough, when I checked my km reading, it is 5027.
Went to chery san fernando yesterday and had jack a deserved change oil and other maintenance check up.
This is a plus point because you have a reminder that an oil change is needed. The down side of this is that you have to have your oil changed at chery because only their computer can turn that warning light off and you guys know how much in house service charge on simple oil change. Of course your local mechanic or the nearest gas station can change the oil but they can never turn that light off which could be irritating.
It is so unlike the lucida where all you have to do is push a little button to turn the warning lamp off or the Hummer where all you do is turn the ignition on but dont start the engine and push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3x.

The icon looks something like this, don't tell me your Pajero does not have it. It should be color orange if things are ok and the icon should be gone if your engine has started. If its ON while you're running then thats the signal you need to change oil. It turns RED if critical na...
Not sure if functional nga ba pero yung ibang turbo daw water-cooled na versus oil-cooled. Kaya...
