May 11th, 2008 12:26 AM #1165Sir GObing, for my last week's gas consumption, bale including a trip to San Ildefonso, Bulacan, I got an average of 13kms per liter (545 kms * 42 liters). Mejo di pa ganun ka-accurate kse mixed traffic modes (me halong NLEX kse) pero I go through the same route as you do (Kalayaan/C5) everyday for work. Napansin ko rin na mga ganun din ang gas consumption ko (10+kms per liter) kung naka aircon at naka-auto mode ako all the way. But there's a big difference when I switch to manual, and even more kung walang aircon. This week, I'll probably try a day measuring that, 1st with aircon at manual mode, then probably w/out aircon at manual din (kung kakayanin ko yung init... hehe). I noticed kse that in auto mode, nagda-down-shift agad when I'm braking... parang me halong engine brakes tuloy, which I actually appreciate kse maraming steep downhills from Antipolo to Makati. I feel safe for my wife who's just learning to drive. Pero in flat areas, feeling ko hinihigop nya yung gas. :D
Still, I look forward for an optimized gas consumption using auto mode and aircon kase my wife will soon be using the car in city driving more often and I don't expect her to drive w/out aircon and in manual mode. Grabe na ang gas! 50+ pesos na ang unleaded!
Anyway, yesterday morning, May 10, when I passed by JETI gas station near out place, unleaded was priced at 47.90, while the rest of the gas stations priced their unleaded at 50.07... when I came back in the afternoon to fill-up, 48.90 na sha! 1 peso ang itinaas nya at around 2pm daw. Sayang!
Cheers sa lahat ng Tsikoteers!

May 11th, 2008 12:58 AM #1166Sir xavier22, are you still working for Chery? Or is it Iseway?
We have bought a QQ308AMT and we think it's a good buy. I just wanted some help sana, if possible, para ma-avail namin yung sinasabi mong "Customer Satisfaction."
Tama bang sa SA kme mag-follow-up ng after sales services? Or me ibang staff na na dapat mag-handle samin? Yung mga minor details na gusto sana namin ma-ayos (like di bumababa all-the-way yung rear windows, di maganda yung fitting ng rubber sa isang door, yung registration plate wala pa rin, etc...), mejo feeling ko, parang na-aartehan samin yung SA namin, tapos lagi nang absent. Ayaw lang rin naman namin na mapintasan yung nabili namin because of these things na pede naman maayos.
Sana matulungan mo kami. Thanks!

Sir note_genius, this is the reason kaya po hindi natuloy ang purchase ko ng QQ, nag test drive ako ng unit sa may Chery Libis, nag-jerk yung matic na unit nila dun, tsaka yung downshift may feeling na sumusubsob ka... I have a Daihatsu Mira from Norkis na 667cc, matic din po yun pero wala kang jerk na mararamdaman sa downshift, tsaka pati shifting is smoother kesa sa QQ, considering na its approximately at least 10 years old na... For some reason, although i was arguing to the sales rep that there was probably something wrong with that particular unit, she told me that ALL QQ matics are like that... Well i believe that she's wrong but it was enough for me to reconsider my options for buying one... medyo uneasy pa ko sa durability as of now kaya i opted for a Chevy... hehehe... one letter lang naman yung difference eh...
peace. Sana po mga CHERY buyers ngayon ang magtuturo sa company kung pano pa mas ma-improve mga China made cars... Toyota started this way too.

May 12th, 2008 06:15 PM #1169Sir note_genius, my rear windows also don't fully go down- up to 3/4 down lang. I guess it's really designed this way because it will hit the curved thingie where the rear wheels are. As for some rubber fittings, the 4' long engine hood rubber gasket (beside the wiper motor fascia) was loose and I found out it wasn't attached properly (I dunno if it's supposed to be self-locking) so I just glued it with Rugby and I've no more problems. As for my license plates, I just follow up my SA and he keeps me posted naman- it's my third week so I'm hoping I get my plates soon. He even texted my wife a happy mother's day yesterday (touched si misis) so tsambahan siguro if you get a thoughtful and conscientious SA.

Saan dealer kayo nakabili??? Anong kulay?
SA is supposed to explain to client status on every complaint they make so as not to let them wait.
Still a good buy if comfort and timeless looks matter to you. The monocoque chassis rides smoother...
2017 Pajero BK, still a good buy?
