sam magracia, Joey Concepcion strongly opposed the wfh setup. Check his last interview regarding sa wfh. Obviously a businessman who has no care with employees. Buti pa ang mga foreigners especially the Western.

sabi ko sa inyo the restructuring of the universe. Tiklop ang mga mafia ng makati at bgc![]()
WFH will not be there forever.. eventually.. businesses will require employees to go back..
dito sa BGC halos back to normal na din ang foot traffic.. dami na din tao.. dami na din cars kahit anong oras.. puno na din parati parking.. restaurants / coffee shops parati puno.. expats are back.. dami na ulit foreigners everywhere you look..
The problem is there are so many new office buildings being launched in Metro Manila that were planned before the pandemic. Even if the take-up in office space is increasing, office rents are still going down.
Makati and BGC are still 30% down but the Bay Area where all the POGOs were is 40% down from Q1 2020
pandemic WFH made people realize:
"pwede pala magtrabaho sa bahay"
"no need to spend an hour in traffic going to work" <--- the daily commute is a soulcrusher
"i can spend more time with family"
i think that will stick
WFH is here to stay
those who wfh and can't deliver won't have work for long

for me the trend is clear
even if companies force employees to return to office, those who refuse can resign and sell their skills elsewhere
the younger generation saw previous generations sell their time to companies
long commutes, long work hours, little time for family
the younger gen don't want that for themselves
companies will be forced to adapt/are adapting to the demands of the younger workforce
Problema kasi sa WFH not everybody has a house suitable for remote working.
Kaya marami nag work sa BPO parang pang tulog na lang yun inuuwiaan nila eh they would rather spend more time sa labas.

i'm saying papunta doon talaga kahit ayaw ng mga business that's where things are going
I have an officemate who was forced to resign kasi nga WFH na nga lagi pa absent. [emoji1751]Although OK naman attendance nya before pandemic. Tapos while other colleagues will try to catch up sa deadline tutal they can work anytime, this office mate would extend the dead line dahil absent.
Sari sari dahilan, kesyo nawala internet, nag brown out, may personal problem, etc. I guess hindi conducive ang WFH setup nya or like you said nahahalo siguro ang home problems during office hours.
Then there are people who works better on WFH setup kasi nga they have more time, imbis na spending hours on commute, they can spend that time to extend work hours and finish tasks. Result is more productive, which may convince their company to allow them to stay WFH.
tsaka you don't need to be employed by a company to wfh
there are many freelance jobs online
