Sabi pala nun VP sa presser. "Someone must have touched something" Anong klaseng explanation yan. 🤣

It's an understatement to say that it was a huge screw up. Mukhang marami na credit ng millions. Officemate nga namin 8M balance kaninang umaga.

If it is a payroll account, and assuming the employee has not resigned yet, the bank can recover from future deposits. Parang prepaid load lang. Pag load mo pa lang, ubos na credits mo. Now, if it is not a payroll account or the employee resigned after drawing the max allowable amount, I think the bank can tap the credit database to tag these people as delinquent payers. So hindi ka na makapag loan pa in the future. For online fund transfers, BPI can contact the bank where the funds were moved and attempt to recoup. Seriously, konyos will not bother to take advantage of this because their integrity is at stake.

This is what I don't understand sinasabi nila paper lost lang daw.

Let's say ang nagkamali is company na double credit sa isang payroll account nabigay nila na order sa bank. I'm assuming sa Pera ng company mababawas yun extra credit so walang problema bpi.

But in this case paano walang nawala ng Pera eh nag double credit na saan galing yun extra Pera ng credit ng bpi sa mga accounts?

Siyempre Meron credit dapat Meron debit saan galing yun Pera?

Thats what I don't get hinde naman pwede na from thin air nag credit yun bpi kahit na wala pinagkuhaan

We do not know who is telling the truth bro. Baka sinakyan lang ung issue. Amount that large would need a corresponding offset in sombody else's account. Just imagine the reaction of that person who got deducted by millions of pesos. Now if someone is trying to dispose a big amount of money to clear a huge questionable balance (kay binay or kay digong) then baka un na un!

I'm sure itong error transactions after they fix this hinde lalabas sa history ng mga account holders. Kahit mag update pa ng passbook

Baka na corrupted and system nila and they were attempting to load a back up. Lots of speculations at this time but one thing for sure , the IT head of BPI is now updating his profile in linkedin or jobstreet.
