"System Glitch" usual spiel namin yan :P
Whoever that person who ran the wrong file is in big trouble. Wala ba sila 4 eyes principle for processes that critical?!?! If it's fully automated, then there is something really wrong with their system. There should be no room for error in banking
Hindi masagot ni Consing pano yung mga nag withdraw at ginamit pera na hindi kanina :P Alam ko talaga mahihirapan sila habulin yan. Karma na lang mga ungas na nag withdraw ng hindi nila pera.

AFAIK, may negative balance ang BPI. Pag na correct yan negative balance sila. Ginawa dati ng officemate ko yan. Weekend sweldo, mali processing ng BPI. Laki ng nadagdag sa kanya, so Withdraw nya lahat, lakas man libre during weekend. Pagdating Monday negative balance nya. Pagdating ng Next sweldo halos wala natira sa kanya. Tag hirap tuloy ng isang sweldo.

Processing ng BPI. I don't know how they usually disable accounts for update. Nangyari disable n account nya online, kaso nag Withdraw sya during update. Nung enabled na ulit Account nya, nakita nya hindi nabawasan pera nya During withdrawal at wala ring transaction log. Kaya ni withdraw lahat ng pera para di na daw mahabol ng BPI.

I don't know if may law na pwede ka nilang kasuhan kung ni withdraw mo yung money sa account mo.. it's your account.
Nangyari na dati sa messenger namin yan.. nag withdraw sya.. mukhang mali yung lagay nung cash sa ATM.. imbes na 100.00 ang lumabas eh 1000.00.. and he withdraw all he can get.. nakita lang sa CCTV na sya yung nag withdraw sa ATM.. wala naman kinaso.. the bank just called me and asked (pleaded) na isoli yung pera otherwise sila magbabayad..

No particular reason. I'm more comfortable with other banks.
A few years ago I remeber super aggressive bdo to land as many corporate account as possible, they even offered us pick up service for deposit. I think my dad turn it down since wala naman issue sa bank namin. That's the height of their expansion halos magkakatabi na bdo branches one stretch on street 3 branches.

Then it is a really big screw up ... systems should have several redundancy checks specially for critical industries like banking systems ... loaded data from the wrong file? ... that is a very lame excuse ... still think they were hacked ... they just won't admit it ...
it's either "we were hacked ... " or "we have incompetent IT ..."

i think they are just making an excuse.. you can not load data from previous days.. even if you try it, the system should not accept it..
