Hi guys, I just bought an action cam from cd-r king (model 006 - with car mode). I have a question about its automatic on/off feature when detecting power from the cigarette lighter source. When I turn the car off, the cam automatically switches off. But it wont turn on automatically when I start the car. Is this normal? Sayang naman nabitin pa ng feature ung action cam ko.

A proper "car mode" should also turn on when it detects power. This is how it goes with the car mode of my SJ4000.

So does that mean my action cam is defective? Everything else is working flawlessly though. I've read blogs and reviews about the cd-r king action cam and they say it automatically starts when it detects power.

Just used the supplied mounts of the SJ4000. Much better than suction cuz it doesn't fall off, and more importantly, doesn't ruin my tint.

Copied sir jut703's setup however the adapter that I have is not parallel to the mount when fully screwed on, anybody else encountered the same problem with their sj4000s? Di tuloy 180 degree yung scope ng cam. Maybe I have a faulty adapter?

it depends on how your rear view mirror is set up - specifically yung "stalk". look at my post on page 83 with pictures of the mounts that i have and the rear view mirror of my gen1 crv.

di ko rin magamit yung dalawang mount na naka-attach sana sa rear view mirror because of the way the stalk is curved. maikakabit ko, pero hindi ko ma-aim ng matino yung sj4000.

if dedicated na dashcam lang talaga at para dun sa purpose na yun lang gagamitin, i would advise getting the g1w-c. pero kung paminsan-minsan gusto mo rin gamitin na action cam, go with the sj4000.


guys sabi sa akin 2 klase yung suction mount for sj4000. meron yung mahaba ang stalk with a big suction at meron parang mas maikli yung stalk at mas maliit yung suction. anyone with the smaller/shorter one? pa-post naman ng picture.

it depends on how your rear view mirror is set up - specifically yung "stalk". look at my post on page 83 with pictures of the mounts that i have and the rear view mirror of my gen1 crv.

Sir try adding 2 extenders para magkaron ka ng horizontal and vertical adjuster. Medyo bababa nga lang position ng camera pero pwede naman siguro iextend mo na lang paharap.

Planning to get this too, my only concern is since you'll be leaving this mounted sa car, it might attract bad elements

This can be done with the Mobius dashcam. Google mo lang bro, medyo masalimuot pero discrete talaga siya. Not sure though kung may Mobius sellers locally.

Personally I prefer that outsiders see the dashcam. Serves as a deterrent, the same way a fake CCTV does.

I ended up buying Transcend DP220 at TCA.
Ang kulit ng taga Blade pero di niya alam pinagsasabi nya.
Less 5% sa TCA pag cash.
So far OK naman ang performance.
Problema lang e suction cup siya kaya weekly e ina ayos ko yung mount to make sure.

But if you can get a g1w rearview mirror mount, mukhang compatible siya.

my dp200 comes with adhesive mounting lang

plano ko sana gamitin yung yung sa old suction mount ko, kaso di kasya dun sa mount ng drivepro200, di ko maslide in , ok na rin siguro dahil sa experience ko sa suction mount nahuhulog sya kapag mainit.
