No need for 4m cables. I used the stock cable that came with my SJ4000's car charger (about 1.5-2m long), and it was long enough to hide in the headliner and A-pillars, and connect directly to the ignition so it won't use up your 12V socket anymore.

Ohh. nag DIY ka lang dito sir? I believe we have a same car - altis 11th gen. But I have no idea paano ko ma-coconnect directly sa ignition yung cable/car charger.

*jj yung sa dashboard nagawa ko na dati using the mounts na kasama. problem ko lang masyadong mababa (harang yung hood) tapos medyo nagvivibrate kapag umaandar (low profile tires + matagtag na ride). pag suction cup naman nadadampen yung vibration pero kita kasi mula sa labas yung suction marks saka takot ako na baka malaglag bigla.

Right in front of the rear-view mirror para minimal obstruction. Yung wire though hindi ko na pinadaan sa A-pillar kasi maiksi.

Had it done at Jetcar Audio in Banawe. Took only 20 min, paid only 300 for labor and a fuse. They used the car charger that came with my SJ4000, yun yung ginamit na 12V to 5V converter. I bought that charger from Bettina's Gadgets for 200 I think.

Just used the supplied mounts of the SJ4000. Much better than suction cuz it doesn't fall off, and more importantly, doesn't ruin my tint.

Yup. The same mount you use to wrap around the handlebar, you can use on the rear view mirror's stalk.

If you are talking about the bike mount, you may also get one from cdrking for 250 pesos. Kung sa glorietta 4, nasa gitna yan makapasok ng cdrking where technician is on your left

More sturdy and won't fall-off kapag tirik ang kainitan ng araw plus no damage pa sa tint kung meron man. Though hindi sya nakatago sa likod ng rear mirror but stays exactly right below it. That for less than $3 sa eBay.
