Ako naman low beam projectors lang ung ni-upgrade ko. Kept the high beam and foglamps stock. Actually I didnt feel that I needed the quad set up after the low beam upgrade since ok na siya for me.

And I also kept the high beams as stock lang para pag nagflash ako ng high beams, on na kaagad siya. Matagal pa din kasi start up ng hid kahit na sinabi nila na fast-start ung ballast. Hehe

Sa low beam setup gumagamit pa ba ng wiring harness? Ballast, hid bulb at upgrade projectors kasama sa package?

Pag hiwalay ung low and high beam, di na ata kailangan ng harness CMIIW though.

Usually pag kit, complete na lahat.

Pag bi-beam ang set up sa low beam, included in the package are projectors, harness, ballasts and bulbs. Same also if you want a bi-beam on hi beam area.

good day mga sir. ask ko lang po. malaki ba ang difference ng stage1 (mini h1?) vs stage2 (d2s), in terms of output? and with regards po sa replacement ng bulbs to branded ones, alin ang mas ok sa dalawa?
i'm planning to push my retrofit with redline before this year ends, pinagpipilian ko lang if stage1 or 2. any inputs are highly appreciated. thanks!

Depends on what type of mini h1 and d2s that they have. If he has the latest mini h1 (version 7 i think), then thats good na. Also it depends on your housing kung kasya ung stage 2 or not. Syempre if you have the budget, go with stage 2 na.

i'm not sure about the version of their mini h1, but for the stage2 its the nhk g5r, if that helps.

initially stage1 lang plano ko, but naisip ko mag stage2 na para atleast nasa mid level na and d2s bulbs na.

regarding the bulbs, choice of 4300k or 5500k. haven't decided yet, but i want a lower temp than the plug n play hid kit i'm currently using (6000k since 2010). ang hirap pag maulan lalo sa aspalto, good thing naka yellow fogs ako.

btw, car is honda civic ek.

Malayo performance ng g5r sa mini h1. 4300k for oem hid look. If you want to upgrade to branded bulbs, get the philips extreme vision gen 2's. Pricey but sulit IMO.

Good. NHK bulbs are fine. I doubt that you will feel the need to upgrade pa. Hehe

I had the Q5 before then upgraded to hella g5. Night and day difference. Then from hella g5 to the g5 ex (paired with branded bulbs), night and day difference ulit.

So if you have option to get the g5 ex, go with that na.

Swapped out the osram cbi for the osram cbb. Initial impressions maganda ung color banding compared to the cbi's.

Have to test it out when driving. One thing to note, the vkool oem20 of the front windshield, really kills the brightness of the projector and bulb. Thinking if I should go with oem35 or sunbloc non plus ultra. Haha

retrofit done for my EK civic! got the stage 2 package from redline. took 5 hrs to finish the whole process including the restoration of my headlight lens.

the set includes g5r projectors, 4300k d2s bulbs, 35w hylux ballasts, shrouds, wiring harness and installation, with 2 years warranty.

coming from my old HID plug and play kit which was installed since 2010 I think, the retrofit upgrade was way beyond my expectations. really worth the money.

I chose the 4300k bulbs over the 5500k for function. hindi na ko hirap ngayon sa gabi considering naka medium tint ako.

altho gusto ko makita output nito pag maulan lalo na sa aspalto, pero sure ako na ok na ok pa din output niya.

Anyone interested with a used koito q5 d2s retrofit kit (with nhk 5500 bulbs, ballasts, and shrouds)?

Also used osram cbi bulbs? No use for them as of the moment. Haha nakatambak lang sa bahay.

    PM me if interested.

BTT, I can now say na may improvement naman ung brightness and intensity now that I've switched to osram cbbs. Itching now to upgrade to g5-ex haha never ending upgrade

    *d3nb3r,
A bit. Pero medyo skewed/tilt ung left projector eh. di na naayos. Kaya medyo binaba ko ung height nung left.
