jake: the projectors I use have clear glass lens already. Before, I use to install TSX and TL but now there are other projectors than can perform well (even outperform some oem projectors) and these oemprojector have dimpled or frosted lens and you need to swapped out the lens to maximize the output.

I see, thanks for that information. Am I correct to conclude then that halogen projectors uses projectors with halogen bulbs while HID projectors use HID bulbs?

fogs: the projector is actually sealed and no enclosure is needed. Pang fogs talaga yan. I custom made a bezel para walang space in between the projector.

Also did custom led rear markers for this car.



paolo: this is the output of the setup I offered to you for your Mazda3. I wasnt able to take a pic of the output of the above Mazda3 but this vehicle has the same setup.

sa inner wala nang reflector kasi quad setup yan. Yung outer na halogen projector pinalitan ng hid projector and also the inner HI part nung headlight nilagyan ng another hid projector so yan ang quad setup.

no problem sa baha just turn it off muna tapos turn it on after walang problem yan.

hi gary, just wanted to ask if naka pag install ka na sa Nissan Livina. Sinubukan ko kasi dati mag pa bukas ng headlight sa installer, ayaw matunaw nung sealant. Natutunaw na yung plastic lens ng headlight, di pa tunaw yung sealant with the heatgun.

I read on HIDplanet that Nissan uses Valeo headlights which needs to be dremel'ed. Any help sir? TIA

I've done headlights na with this kind of sealant. Come over one time and I will take a look at it.

Ganyan din siguro yung sealant ng Depo HL ng GE ko, yung may angel eyes/projector. Hehe pinalinis ko kay NorthCustoms inabot ng buong araw para mabuksan lang. Pangit na nung maibalik kaya tinapon ko nalang hehe

re: solenoid

I don't think so. Most electromagnetic solenoids are designed to have a life cycle of 1 or 2 million. At ten flicks/day, thats 100,000 days sa 1 million life cycle. It is a simple electromagnet so wala naman masisirang madali dun. Winding lang if ever and if you see the actual solenoid maganda naman quality and the moving part is very small. It would be the least of my concern. Just to make it clear, it is not the lifespan of the projector we are discussing but the solenoid or actuator that pulls down the shield when you flick the HI switch. Other than that the projector will last as long as the car if you use 35w bulbs.

Quoting your statement above, does this mean that if you use 50 w ballast on the Philips 85122 + bulbs, even if it produces 50w output, the projector will last long as the car also?
