Bro read up on HIR bulbs. This can be a good upgrade for your HI bulbs. Philips Germany is making these bulbs. They only have it on 9005 and 9006.

Like a light sabre, hahahaha. It seem we come from the same generation.

Hehe, oo nga. I think we're even batch mates. Anyway, HIR bulbs seems promising. Would you know if this is available locally. It may prove to be a nice supplement to the FXR's.

I forgot to metion that the FXR's also looks damn good seeing it from the outside as the car approaches. the bluish, violetish color gives the car a very classy look. I've observed other cars with stock HID but they pale in comparison to the look of the FXR's.

Last week I happened to drive side by side with a new model Benz. His output was nowhere near the quality of output of the FXR's.

chik: cant do that kung walang spare gauge coz matagal gawin yun. did that na for EK and EG Hondas.

smash: hehehe, oo nga nakakaaliw coz you get better lighting system than some oem systems. Mga ibang Benz and BMW pangit output. I can get you the HIR, I dont think available dito.

my bro in law, joey r. is an avid VW enthusiast. He has 3 VW's incl that Kombi (type 2?) all fully restored. Last year we toured most of Aklan with that Kombi and people were looking at it with wide open eyes,maybe they cant believe that a car that old can still do the ro-ro thing, hehe.

My first Suzuki Swift from MAC of TeamSwift: (this is my kind of setup, nothing loud pero ang porma)
Just to show newbies on the glare produced by plugandplay HID, see this:



This car had a PNP hid kit installed prior to the retrofit. Look at the left picture and see the glare above the cutoff. Yan ang nakakasilaw sa ibang motorista. On the right side, that's the output of the hid projector retrofit. You can see that the cutoff is very clean and that there is no light above the cutoff. The light being produced by the HID bulb is concentrated on the road where you need it.

From the perspective of oncoming traffic:



In actual malamig tingnan yung retrofit compared to the PNP HID na masakit tingnan pag kasalubong.
