good day, not sure if applicable in here. Currently using depo headlight for my EE90, replaced the stock koito (which is old enough) with bosch H4, same rating as the stock, 60watts something. Question is, meron pa po ba better bulb that i can use? i saw the PIAA bulbs but not sure if the depo can handle the heat even with same rating. Talo ng kasalubong and other lights pag nasa city. But pag nasa dark places, tolerable naman. But still, better to have brighter ones.

    Thanks

Good morning sirs! Has anybody tried the philipps H4 led bulbs on their vehicles?
Saw then on display sa blade. . One set has braided heatsink for around 5k++ while the other has fans ata for heat management, selling for approx 9k++.
Any inputs/feedbacks you may have sa philippine setting. Thanks

Both are fanless. Ultinon essential for the ribbon/braided type heatsink

Based on what I've read pangit fan dahil pag nasira mag overheat na ang Mapundi bulb

Ohhhh. . . Great. .. so heatsink lang talaga yun nasanlikod nun tig 9k ++

Promising ata kasi because of the brandname and the impression that more testing has come into the product and there's a hood(?) To prevent glare pag lowbeams

All the reviews that i've read came from other countries. . . Quite confident that it has way better visibility during fair weather driving. . . But nobody mentioned about visibility in the rain.
. And looking for more reliable inputs about highbeam throw.

    Anybody?

Many drivers are installing LEDs especially with higher wattage (above 35w) and lumens (around 13,000+) and at 6,000 K. These are really bright, bluish white lights. The price ranges are from 4,500 to 6,000 pesos for some Chinese brands and for some branded ones, definitely pricier.

The downside is longevity. Most of my friends who tried LEDs do not really suggest to join the LED bandwagon since they experienced some product failure in less than 6 months. Mostly on the active ones or the ones with built in fans.
