I choose yellow and put it as low as possible. Here are some explanations:

    a. Human eyes are more responsive with long wavelength light like yellow, red, and green.
    b. Since fog droplets are too large, wavelength(color) has nothing to do with fog penetration.
    c. All light colors scatters the same rate in fog/ water, so color is never an issue to choose from as long as its road legal(not blue or red).
    d. Lights placed 2 feet or less below the road gets better visibility because most of the time fog does not touch the ground.
    - Thats why fog lights are positioned in the lower part of your car.
    - This explains also why using high beam causes poorer visibility than using low beam - due to more reflected/ dispersed light in the fog.
    e. Proper aiming of lights is the best tool to achieve good visibility.
    f. Using super-white HID would be useless since it reflects white light(rich in color) back to the driver.

    Near useless. Promise.

Better invest on hella, bosch, PIAA or other branded foglights.

    yellow dapat ang fog lamps.

But if you think about it wala naman halos fog sa Metro Manila. Smog meron. Sa Baguio pa meron fog. rain is not fog.

so in the end, kahit alin pwede. yellow or white.

"use yellow bulbs in low beam"

sige po gawin nyo yan at pag nagkita tayo huhuliin ko kayo. May international rule regarding the use of yellow as the low beam. Here are the INTERNATIONAL rules about lights sa mga vehicles. Ang dami naming nahuhuling ganyan sa US and Germany. Haven't you ever wondered why car manufacturers don't install yellow low beams eventhough it provides great visibility???

    Check ECE and SAE standards.

Blue and yellow headlights (24011 VC). Headlights must be white - blue and yellow are illegal. Look for the DOT symbol on the bulb and package.

Headlights brighter or higher wattage than those from the factory (24011 VC). You may be able to see better, but the lights are illegal.

Tail lights other than red (24600 VC).

Illegal brake lights (24603 VC). Brake lights on vehicles newer than 1979 must be red. (Vehicles older than 1979 may be red or yellow.)

Lack of rear reflectors (24607 VC). Two red reflectors are required on the rear of cars and trucks.

Incorrect color of turn signal (24953 VC). It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear.

Red lights to the front (24003 VC). They are illegal except on emergency vehicles.

Tail lights that incorporate a bulb with a red tint or coating. In general, custom tail lights that incorporate a clear outer shell and red inner lens are legal (24011 VC). If they don't incorporate reflectors, they must be added to the vehicle (24607 VC).

Tail lights that are too dim, washed out or show yellow, white or other colors (24600 VC).

Illegal color of side marker lights (25106, 24003 VC). If present, must be yellow in the front and red in the rear.

Driving with just parking lights on (24800 VC). Vehicles that have factory-installed automatic daytime running lights must meet federal requirements and are legal.

Illegal decorative lights (24003 VC). All flashing decorative lights are illegal (25250 VC). This includes neon lighting.

Illegal windshield washer nozzle lights (25106 VC, 24003 VC). Only white or yellow are allowed.

Lights attached to tire valves (24003, 25250 VC).

Lighted license plate frames (unless red) (24003 VC).

Illegal lights, whether or not they are operating. It is illegal just to have them on the vehicle (24003 VC).
