check mo lang yung sa BPI, usually naka lock in ka don sa insurance for the next 4 years.. tapos ang mahal nang insurance nila.. so in the end.. talo ka..

same dilemma that i had prior to getting "Miray". Most banks i asked offered free insurance for the first year, some will offer free insurance and chattel mortgage. the catch? they will adjust the interest and like what sir *_Qwerty_, in the end baka taLo kapa. do the Math and decide, your call at the end of the day. I was offered by BPI and PNB free insurance for the first year while Metrobank and Security Bank have Free 1st year insurance and Free Chattel mortgage but i opted for BDO, competitive yung interest rate for 3 years (36 month car loan) plus staggered payment sa insurance nila.

You can also go bank "hopping". In my experience, the quoted rates are not fixed. Go to one bank and get a quotation. Then go to the 2nd bank and show the 1st bank's quotation, tatapatan or bababaan pa ng 2nd bank yung rate nila. You can then go back to the 1st bank or to a third bank. Just be friendly and maintain good rapport with the loan officers or bank manager. Don't commit at first. Good luck!

you can get multiple quotation kahit wala pang bank approval.. just tell them how much downpayment you are going to make..

Yes, pwede naman yan kaso much better kung approve ka na sa mga banks para hindi ka na babalik sa bank na much higher rate dahil decline naman pala application mo sa kabila

BPI, Metrobank, PS Bank ... BDO usually higher ... get a special rate from the bank that you use ...

Saw an article from TGP and BPI has this "All Out" promo going on from June 1 to October 31. This is applicable to 5-year loans with 20% DP. Chattel mortgage fee and 1st year insurance are free and you also get a P10,000 discount on your DP. Their sample computation has a 26.54% interest. Might be worth a look.

Can get lower if you have proof on other bank's "lower" offer.
Chattel is at 20.5k

Need to see the actual computations of BPI considering they have higher interest.
