For every kilo of lpg this is equal to 1.78 liters of auto-lpg

So if they plan to increase by Php1 per kilo this should only translate to Php0.56/liter

So even if they declare a Php3/kilo increase in lpg this will only translate to Php1.68/liter of lpg

In total we all know that gasoline will increase by Php1.50/week for another month or so however for lpg there is no underrecovery at the moment the price is marked to market already.

So the math seems to be a no brainer as to what kind of savings one can have by switching from gasoline to auto-lpg.

    Your welcome Paolo

The more we enlighten with facts the more auto-lpg becomes a compelling choice for motorist nowadays.

It is difficult to answer "what ifs" questions and speculative questions as we all do not know what will happen in the future

MANILA, Philippines -- As expected, the oil companies increased prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene by P1.50 a liter and of cooking gas by P1 a kilogram early Saturday, prompted by skyrocketing world oil prices and the weakening peso.

First to raise prices was Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. at 12:01 a.m., followed by Petron Corp., Chevron Philippines Inc., Total (Philippines) Corp., Eastern Petroleum Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. at 6 a.m.

Since the start of the year, gasoline, diesel and kerosene prices have risen 13 times for a total of P11 a liter for gasoline and P11.50 a liter for diesel and kerosene.

The latest price adjustment brought prices of premium unleaded gasoline to between P52.17 and P56.65, diesel to between P44.41 and P49.50, and kerosene to between P49.80 and P55.30 a liter, inclusive of the 12-percent VAT.

LPG now costs between P604 and P650 per 11-kilogram cylinder.

New round of oil price hike worsened by rise in food costs - report

MANILA, Philippines - The rise in the prices of petroleum products — the 15th time this year — was made worse by the simultaneous increase in the prices of basic commodities.

Radio dzMM reported that as oil giants Petron and Shell raised the prices of their fuel products by P1.50 on Saturday, the prices of commodities in Metro Manila markets also increased.

According to the report, the prices of cooking oil increased from P2 to P5 per bottle. Price of a small bottle of cooking oil increased from P30 to P32; long neck bottle from P60 to P64 and a one-liter bottle from P80 to 85.

Prices of canned goods have also increased, particularly corned beef from P27 to P30 per small can, and from P38 to P42 per big can. Noodles also increased by P1 or from P5.50 to P6.50 per pack of Lucky Me and from P6.50 to P7.50 of pancit canton.

The Filipinos' staple have also increased continuously. Prices of commercial rice have jumped between P3 and P15, according to the report.

Sinandomeng, which previously cost P35 a kilo, is now being sold at P38. Prices of denorado have risen to P41 per kilo from P40; wag-wag to P40 from P38; and jasmine from P45 to P60.

Also, the report said prices of vegetables rose to 30 percent. - ARCS, GMANews.TV

yup these are hard times pero I can only attribute the slow business sa opening ng school season. kung noon araw, people can alot some 60% of their mid year earnings to the schooling expenses of their children, ngaun baka 80%-90% na. so as a result, less ang consumer spending sa other fields.

it wont be long that people will bypass the diversion tactics of the government and start to realize the real problem with the rising price of gas.

the past few months, much of govt spending was diverted to subsidies (NFA rice, diesel discount for PUJs, cash handouts, etc)

So wala na mashado govt spending on infrastructure projects.

So no business ang mga contractor and everyone else down the line.

    --------------

P56.47 na ang Petron Xtra unleaded.

    Tuloy tuloy ito.

May under recovery pa mga oil companies.

i remember an interview on TV with Bro. Mike Velarde, the El Shaddai leader. he said "people are just too sensitive of the times. hindi ba nila alam na out of every crisis there is an equal opportunity". and to think I watched this interview 2002 pa. and to think again! these words are coming out from a "man of god" figure.
