haha
na-condition kasi tayo fuel prices will not stop rising.
yung iba sa atin nag-e-expect ng P70/liter, P80/liter, even P100/liter unleaded...
Pero tumigil ang weekly price hike..
Not only that, nagka-rollback pa...
Yehey!!
hehehe

Yikes naunahan ako ng oil companies balak ko sana tomorrow morning ang bilis nila mag react!
Like a thief in the night: Oil companies have increased pump prices as of 6AM this morning, 1-05-2010. There was no word on the evening news about this.
last night po, midnight nagtaas
i was out that time, saw a Shell station with new price at 12:05 AM
don't rely on the news
watch oil prices
look at the trend
a continuous 3 to 5 day uptrend of no less than $3-$5 is a sure signal of a price hike
kung opposite direction, huwag muna magpa-full tank, wait for a rollback

Anyone doubts that this might become a normal sight in Metro Manila soon?

ngayon ko lang naisip...
diba nag full effect na ang AFTA Jan. 1, 2010?
hindi ba dapat wala na tax (or may malaking tax reduction) sa imported fuel?
i mean if the Philippines buys fuel thru Singapore (well, that's where the Philippines buys the contracts right?)... Singapore is part if AFTA, so dapat may malaking tax reduction ang imported fuel
which would translate to lower pump prices
i'm not sure about that but we'll see

here's the answer to my question above
(kaya lang, the anticipated decline in pump prices wouldnt matter much if oil price keeps rising)
DOE sees 70-centavo drop in gas pump prices next week
http://business.inquirer.net/money/b...ices-next-week
MANILA, Philippines -- Fuel prices are expected to drop by roughly 70 centavos a liter next week, due to an executive order which reduced tariff of petroleum products to zero from the current 3 percent.
Energy Secretary Angelo T. Reyes said EO No. 850 was signed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo last Dec. 23 and it took effect beginning Jan. 1 this year.
"The 3-percent tariff being collected by the Bureau of Customs will be reduced to zero and the effect of this (reduction) in pump prices is 70 centavos a liter. So we should see the effect next week -- whatever the prices will be next week, these should decrease by 70 centavos to conform with the EO," Reyes explained.
Reyes also told reporters that the EO applied to liquid petroleum products
and to all importations among the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
EO 850 had scrapped collections on 7,881 tariff lines starting Jan. 1. This would be applicable for all imports sourced from Asean member states.
The order also ensures that the Philippines is on track in implementing the ASEAN Free Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA).

I dunno how it all translates to the pump prices because of those recent tariff reductions, but oil is now doing $83.50... Better gas up!
Hehehe. Nagkitakita ulit tayo dito ah. Hehehe. Mahaba habang kwentuhan nanaman to.
Naunahan kita ako kahapon pa maskin Linggo alam kong aakyat yan pag bukas ng markets today!Di ko lang talaga alam kailan magtataas ang mga oil companies...
