Yes folks chevy optra is a gas guzzler... nakaka average ako ng 6-7 kilometer/litter city driving... eto pa, hindi raw pwede ng regular unleaded gasoline, kailangan iyun 95+ ang octane ng gasoline na kargahan
glad you checked the other thread. =D masubukan ko nga magpa-LPG na rin. Magkano chief total cost?

pero teka, that tank is too big. Ask ko lang opinion nyo guys, isn't that too much of a downforce on the back of the car? Di ba nakakaawa ang gulong at shocks nun?

think of it this way.... Once you have your LPG kit installed, you will normally use LPG as your main fuel so you can keep your gasoline tank near empty (say keep 1/4 tank as a back up when your LPG runs out). That way you offset the weight of the LPG tank with the lighter weight of the near empty gasoline tank.

Thanks sir. Gauge man lang?

finally regarding sa indicator, sa tank mismo may gauge siya para makita mo kung full or empty, then sa toggle switch may digital gauge din na naka indicate how many percent you have left in the tank.

Thanks sa pics. Parang ok ito. Thinking of converting my van. Medyo out of the way. Kailan kaya magkakaroon ng more stations at saan?

they have a 30 liter capacity tank which is half the size installed in my car and a donut shape para nakatago sa lalagyan ng spare tires (out of stocks daw)

they also have a lists of filling station all over metro manila, just ask.... tska aside from petron i think i've heard mayroon din ang shell, manila gas... for me there is no problem dahil malapit lang office ko sa petron libis and/or sa pioneer which they soon have a filling station and they claimed that theirs will be cheaper than petron... i hope para mas lalo pa makatipid...

y'know, sana they made the tank such that it could be replaced when it's empty, parang sa tangke ng stove kumbaga. then they could use the network of existing lpg outlets for distribution. then again, baka mahirap imonitor ung condition ng tank/fuel system, madisgrasya ka pa

the only reason to use a "replacable" tank is if refilling takes too long. Since refilling your LPG tank is quite quick, there is no need. Some of the earlier style car LPG system actually use home LPG tanks but there were safety issues with those systems.

A typical tank will only shift your weight balance from 60:40 or 65:35 (front weight % : rear weight %) to 55:45 or 58:42 (estimates lang yun), which is still somewhat safe. Heck, some people used to put rice sacks in the trunk of their front wheel drive cars to balance out the handling and ride, so it's bound to be okay.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
