Worldwide, Nissan has a really good lineup of cars, from boring sub-compacts (Versa) to EV cars (Leaf) to full-size SUV (Armada) to sports cars (GT-R). We don't even count the Infiniti models and the collaboration models with Renault. Honda can't even match up to the range of models Nissan has, nor Toyota can field out affordable sporty cars without the help of Subaru. It is just that the local marketing here suck big time and we don't get those models that really tickle our fancy.

I'm happy with my 2006 3.3L V6 Sonata. I've reached 168.5k miles (271.2km) in it and the only problems I've had so far was replacing an accelerator pedal actuator. It's not unusual, considering I've been abusing my car from Day 1 (no break-in period). I'm still abusing it up to now. There's also some body noise up front which also isn't unusual, considering we hit a deer head-on during one foggy night in New York state. It's 10 years old.
The 3.3L Lambda engine is fantastic. Still plenty of power and torque. The 4G63-T of my old Diamond Star only lasted 167k miles before dying completely.
Nissan Sylphy
Rode one, nung sinundo kami from office papunta dun sa binook na hotel for an official meeting.
Roomy, and ang tahimik pala nito sa loob.
Upon checking online sa price, di hamak na napaka mura nya compared sa madalas bilhin na brand (alam nyo na yun haha).
agree sa nissan sylphy. i have the 1.8v. since konti lang sa kalsada laging napagkakamalang luxury car pag may nakakakita. sinasabi ko hindi, yan yung dating sentra. panalo sa creature comfort - aircon & cabin space the best. not for spirited driving though.

siguro sa mga katulad kong pangmatagalan yung gagamitin na oto eh matatakot sumugal sa mga brands na pahihirapan kang maghanap ng parts kapag 10yrs old and above na yung sasakyan kaya nagiging go to brands nila or namen yung honda at toyota kahit na nga mas magaganda specs at mas maraming features yung ibang brands.
Well kung ganyan point of view mo.na kung pang matagalan okay yan. Hindi tulad iba ino overrate ang Toyota. Hahahah!
Punta ka sa TGP FB page daming cancer doon. Ex: Toyota vs other brand. Sasabihin agad na sirain ung other brand kahit wala.namang first hand experience.

I'd go for the Accord V6 coupe although the dual exhausts give it away. The 4-cylinder version has only one exhaust pipe.
There's also a few GMC Syclones here. One of the most underrated vehicles around, especially when their owners don't wash them. Looks like a beat-up low-rider pickup. Many of the cocky kids found that out the hard way. They ended up in shock, often weaving from side to side after being left behind by the Syclone.
1991 GMC Syclone (factory stock) 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Actually, there should be some. The old (early 2000's) Forester XT had only one tail pipe. If you didn't see the XT badge, the only other way to identify one was the hood scoop up front. Unlike the newer and heavier Forester turbos, the old ones had like 0-60 mph times in the low 5 seconds (~5.2 sec).
The newer ones have slowed down considerably, more in the same range as my old V6 Sonata (mid-six sec range).
Even back in 2006, there were forum members here who had a Forester turbo.
If you see an ugly-looking, boxy old Forester XT, you better be careful. If it was maintained by its owner, it's a terror on PH roads.![]()

^^^ The 2nd gen Forester XT (SG platform, 2002-2008) had a small body and nearer to the Impreza in dimensions. It also sits lower to the ground. It was more of a wagon than the CUV shape of the same era CRV (2nd gen).
There are a few Forester SGs in BF homes that are still running, both in XS and XT trims.
