After 5 years.....Astig pa rin ang Civic......

Civic din ako. I just recently got a Civic and believe me the Mazda 3 (along with the Ford Focus, and the new Altis) was one of my considerations. In the end after many research, asking, and a test drive each the Civic is the car I choose. The resale value was also a factor. I am not sure if the new Mazda 3 will suffer the same fate as the old Mazda's but those old Mazda's resale value is horrid to say the least...

Mazda 3 is on a recall notice for models up to 2007. It involves a wiring harness.

I vote for the Civic. I was actually deciding between the Civic and the upcoming Altis. I never considered Mazda 3, although I think Mazda 3 looks good. It is very true that a lot of people already have a Civic, but this population is still very small compared to the Altis and Vios population.

Actually I don't know why people equate negative things on cars that are numerous. In fact the more there are the easier it is to find the parts and possibly cheaper and the easier the car is to maintain. MORE SALES also means the car is good in people's opinion. We can have all varying opinions but at the end of the day SALES is the best voting machine out there cause people won't spend the huge sums of money to buy a car they don't like.

i chose mazda for hte look and the price and the interiror package.. mas expensive kasi ang honda 2.0 kesa sa mazda 2.0

mazda 3 or civic?...for lower engine displacement civic wins hands down but for 2.0L engine ibang usapan na...the 2008 model has revise valve timing so power and fc consumption is almost the same on this but with the moonrof,headlamp HID levelizer,sportier look,price tag... mazda all the way....

after reading the posts, nakakatawa lang ang mga comments ng mga die hard civic fanatics. i was a civic user before, now a proud mazda 3 user. parang nasa defense mode ang mga civic owners. so afraid na napag cocompetensyahan ang mga beloved civics nila.

napaka common na kasi ng civics at saka, napakalaki na ng mga bagong civics ngayon. kumbaga, mid-sized sedan na siya. love ko civic noon dahil sa compact pa siya. ang altis (corolla) din ngayon ang laki na rin. ang mazda 3 naman ay compact sedan pa rin. ewan ko sa inyo ha, pero iba talaga ang ride kapag compact sedan ang gamit ninyo, while others went oversizing the mazda 3 kept the spirit of sports driving, civic? di na siya tulad ng mga sir, hatchback, etc. thus sacrificing the sporty feeling. that is also one of the reasons na mga old civic fans na mahilig mag mods, ay lumipat na ng brand OR kept their old gen civics. yung civic ngayonm kasing laki na ng old accords.

sa tingin mo yng civic fd ganun ka ganda. di ka nagtataka kung bkit biglang sumikat ang mzdA 3? alam mo ba ang civic fd ay medyo mahirap i set up compared sa older civics. or kung gusto mo i hataw mo ung civic mo sa curve tapos try mo gawin mo sa mzda3 yung same manuever
