Baka depende sa model. Ako, pinsan ko, at kaibigan ko naka Ranger 2.2L dati. Wala namang naging issues, consistent solid ang reliability. Bugbog yung mga yun sa byahe ha. Yung Focus naman namin hindi na powershift dual clutch pero napa warranty makina, ilang taon na din lumipas, di na ulit nagkaroon ng problema pa... another is yung pre-facelifted Mustang the one with the V8 and 6 speed auto, one of the most reliable muscle cars.
So if you’re looking at Ford vehicles mas maganda mag research sa model na tinitignan as it seems may ibang models na ok, may iba na hindi. Quality varies from model to model.
Yung Territory hindi pa natin masasabi talaga. Not much history and info sa CVT and its turbo engine. We’ll just have to see in 3 years or so kung may problema.

March 19th, 2021 01:05 PM #63you are lucky. kinda had a different experience.
my uncle had a 2011 Ford fiesta sedan dct. had the transmission replaced but pabalik balik pasin sa kasa. he sold it without ever finding a solution to the horrible transmission.
we had a 2009 ranger 2.2 at. had it for less than two years. intercooler piping had a habit of breaking and leaking boost. masakit sa bulsa palitan at 7k sa casa. finally just before selling transmission was acting up. palaging nakailaw yun dashboard. solenoid ekek. sold it at around 30k plus kms.

As I said, depende sa model. We all know their DCT is crappy. It's already common knowledge at this point, that's why we bought the Focus since it doesn't have the DCT. Also our Ranger had a manual transmission so I can't comment on your experience sa AT. Yung sa intercooler, hindi ba dapat na warranty ninyo yun since less than two years pa lang naman? I had a similar experience but after being replaced with a different intercooler under warranty, wala ng issue. Kung recurring yung issue sa inyo, it means the casa probably didn't install it properly. That's why if one is looking at Ford vehicles and he's not lazy, mas maigi mag research. I mean if you test drove one and really liked it over its competitors, tapos kaya ka lang atrasado kasi ang inaalala mo yung reliability, might as well ask from the owners of the model and variant you liked. If they say they had bad experience, avoid it, and if they say wala naman silang problema, go. Sayang naman if someone is missing out on an otherwise reliable vehicle because some of the cars in their line up has issues tapos hindi naman related or iba yung parts na gamit sa model na gusto mo.

Finally saw a Corolla Cross!
One was while driving along C5 and the other a BGC
Looks ok, but the Territory still looks better.

Exactly why we are fortunate to be members of this forum and we get to discuss issues of various cars.
I honestly find it disappointing and alarming that both of you have issues with the intercooler.
As for the DCT, I've heard about horror stories for the longest time, pero even my best friend in AUS decided to get a Fiesta since all her friends are using one!
Ganun din colleague ni misis, decided to get an EcoSport and she's happy with it.
