yes, i think we might get the spin. when i drove the spin, i noticed just a little push on the throttle and you got instantaneous torque considering you just have a 1.2 liter engine. now the only downside i can see is the less than spectacular interior and a manual transmission, but at least the clutch is soft and non-tiring.

actually, i really want an automatic this time around. however the gas variant is not as fuel efficient, but i can accept that since i think konti lang difference sa fuel economy. the reason why spin is the better choice is because of its 7-seater capacity and in perspective it is bigger and of course more fuel efficient and more powerful. ive test driven both vehicles already.

I have not seen ford ecosport yet but based on researches, i will go for the ecosport (specifically Trend manual) against Spin. Analysis was based on features, long-time economy, looks, usability, value for money, etc.

Had anyone drive-tested the Ecosport Trend Manual? Have you notice the actual fuel consumption?

why not consider Kia Carens. 7 seater with 1.7L VGT engine much more powerful engine but surely fuel efficient car.
Kia still offering huge discount extended til Feb 28.

Agree ako dito. I got a Spin CRDi LS model, i couldn't ask for more...performance, comfort, FC is superb...above all the turbo charge is amusing walang kahiraphirap magovertake considering it has 1.3 liter engine and very stable even at 120kph.

I would recommend getting the Spin instead

As for engine transmission of the EcoSport, it shares the same one as the Fiesta, which is one thing that I don't like about our car. The DCT has some problems determining whether to downshift or not, so there is some tugging that occurs whenever you try to accelerate from rest. I haven't test driven the EcoSport so I may be wrong about this, I'm saying this from our experience with our 2014 Fiesta. Try test driving the EcoSport and see how it feels.

baka ecosport sir...wala pong discount yan sa ngayon, in fact, may extra charge nga dahil daw "limited supply"
