it all depends on what vehicle, who will drive it, the driving style, and the conditions...

it also depends on what kind of automatic you're talking about. If it's one of those modern and intelligent automatics, then good. But if it's one of those old automatics that dont know how to shift on time and are quite annoying to drive, so manual nalang...

if its a van for daily use, city driving, automatic... but then again if its so dumb, manual nalang...

if youre a busy office guy who is always stressed, automatic nalang...

if youre a girl, automatic nalang...

but if its a car just for the weekend and its one of those "driver" cars, then ill have a manual to be able to feel the car totally.

since i drive 90% of the time in Manila, i must say that driving a manual is a chore, its not funny coz of the traffic.

For SUVs, AT is a must esp if your just blingin
For compact SUV and below, still MT for me. One advatange is that I find it more precise to tailgate during slow creeping traffic.

It works both ways. Never send a man to do a computer's job.

As I drive in Metro Manila almost exclusively, the fun factor is irrelevant with MT. Bad road conditions, stop and go traffic, pedestrians everywhere, PUVs weaving left and right, U-Turn slots every few hundred meters on the fast lane... the list is endless.

    MT is dead to me.

For me it is a computer's job to press the clutch because its inhumane for humans to press the clutch with our Manila traffic

^Yeah! Manila traffic is inhumane. Good thing the NLEX is the escape from it all. I still prefer the M/T 'coz I feel safer at low speeds with all the control it gives. But I won't drive one along the whole stretch of EDSA. That simply sounds like a friggin' joke.

May mga friends ako natuto sa A/T. Di marunong sa M/T.

Meron ba ritong Tsikoteers na A/T lang alam i-drive?
