Yup, we compared 5AT and 6MT and the MT was slower. Specially the long throw MTs. Some Toyota D4d MTs are even detuned for torque compared to their AT versions.

At ang matic sa traffic lang advantage. Pero pag highway, or crusing at night, driving in a sunny sunday maganda manual trans.
At napansin ko usual disgrasya sa matic eh carelessness. Lagi naka shift sa drive tapos apak lang sa brake pedal. Tapos pag traffic hahawak sa smartphone papindot-pindot. Tapos pag binusinahan at nataranta ayun napaapak sa gasolinador ayun bangga. Marami pa iba carelessness na disgrasya dahil ina-underestimate ang matic.

My 2 vehicles both have AT trannies of different types. One is DCT and the other one is CVT. They are much better to drive in open roads. The CVT accelerates much faster, due to its power/torque advantage. The DCT shifts quicker and more responsive on upshifts/downshifts.
Gusto ko rin kumuha ng MT car next time, something much more powerful and quicker than my current rides.

Ang nadrive ko cvt trans yung mga bago ng honda.
Ano difference doon sa old cvt ng jazz or nissan cvt?
Kasi meron ako nabasa hindi daw true cvt yung sa mga bagong honda kung icompare doon sa cvt ng first gen jazz.
Pero ok cvt kasi hindi pumapalo pag nagshift.
