dahil sa tindi ng traffic dito sa metro manila kahit mag alternative route ka pa mas maganda pa rin ang AT kesa sa MT.

MT maganda yan kapag medyo moderate ang flow ng traffic

i think, after everything has been said, it's still a matter of personal choice. one thing, though, that a/t will never let you do, is to run your battery to death. because you can't push-start an a/t. and i love gambling with my battery. hehe.

I love M/Ts. I can never ever trade the excitement that I get when driving an M/T.

Nowadays, we have battery packs that hook up to cigarette lighters in case of a dead battery.

True. No manual tranny can shift as fast as dual clutch trannies. Add to that gear ratios that are close to or even closer than manuals and manual trannies will soon be a thing of the past. Same as manual doorlocks, manual windows, etc. Even formula 1 uses multiple clutch auto mechanisms.

Isang advantage nga lang ng stick shifts, pantay ang muscles ng left and right legs mo. Pero kidding aside, iba nga yung enjoyment na nakukuha sa manual shifting.

Matic for me, I even had my old MB converted to Automatic. Driving a Manual has become unbearable with the present traffic situation in the Metro.

Nice to know dami ngshashare ng ideas dito, that's the spirit mga repa! i had my car traded in to a new one. i stuck to M/T pa rin. hehe. i'm open to ideas having A/T though.

Very informative... keep it coming mga repa!
for me, I also prefer yung M/T.

sa buhay, di lang naman dapat AT alam mo i-drive, dapat alam mo lahat i drive.. kasi pag emergency arises, e either MT or AT lang alam mo at nagkataong di available ung tranny na alam mo....magsisi ka..

ako, i pefer MT..a fast MT..pero ngayon, puros AT na halos lahat..and MT's are restricted to base models

SANA MAY MT DIN SA HIGH END MODELS! kahit upon request lang...

yes you can... Ford Focus TDCi A/T actually has a DSG tranny. I have driven it last year. Heavy car due to the weight of the diesel motor PLUS the weight of the DSG tranny.

true, lots of torque but didn't you notice the super stiff suspension to support the heavy front end from plowing into the pavement at every corner?

M/T for the win. Never send a computer to do a man's job.

dapat MT vs AT vs CVT vs DSG..

yup DSG mas ok... shifts faster than conventional MT-driver, di nakakatakot i-hard driving...

CVT more on effieciency, and parang nakakatakot i-drive hard... at least DSG or MT either for effiecent driving or hard driving..

For fun and challenge, nothing beats an MT. But for going fast, the DSG is tops. It allows you to keep both hands on the wheel, where they belong, it shifts faster than you can, and there's better power-transfer than with a single-clutch or torque-converter tranny.

Yeah, it's heavy... but considering all modern cars are porkers...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
