Well may psychological effect talaga kapag ginawang taxi ang car model mo nang di mo inaasahan. I got that frustrating feeling when same model of my previous Altis was turned into a taxi. Then again when a tsikoteer posted pix of an M3 na ginawang taxi.

However, for this segment, before you buy, prime yourself and expect that it may be turned into a taxi kasi may demand for that purpose. . .

However, for this segment, before you buy, prime yourself and expect that it may be turned into a taxi kasi may demand for that purpose. . .

I don't mind kung mapagkamalang taxi ang auto mo. Malay mo may pumarang chikas, edi isakay mo ng libre then get her number. Hatid mu na rin sa bahay para alam mo na saan dadalawin.

Agree. Sana LTO checks these PUV's as in good condition. Malas na lang at parehas lang bayad kahit pangit nasakyan mong taxi.

when i inquired some months ago at the casa, i was informed that while the grand livina is a current model offering, it has to be imported into the country once there is an order for one. somehow, that didn't sit well with me.. papano piyesa..?

Sa Sta. Rosa plant lang ginagawa grand livina. Yung kapitbahay namin painter sa sta rosa plant, he would always say na maganda pintura ng nissan dahil baked-in daw talaga everytime na makikita niya GL namin.

Since when sir? Toyota never made that statement. Patanong na lang sa friend mo kung saan nya nakuha yun. Toyota supported taxi trans since the beginning. And about the declining value of car since model can be used as taxi is underated. A good sales agent will never say that unless they are a competitor of toyota. You could also look on the resale value of lets say an avanza to other mpv's... For sure that will be evident enough... Just my thoughts

Ayaw nga daw minsan mag binta ng dealer ng puti if gagawin lang n pang taxi. Bibigyan ka ng ibang color then pa re color mo. Hehe.

Ang laki ng market for taxi fleet. Unless ikaw ang humawak sa TMP baka ipagbawal mo nga.

Bumababa ang value? Lagi number 1 ang toyota sa sales. Do you think issue pa sa kanila yung notion na nagiging "leser value" dahil ginagawa silang taxi?

Dito lang sa Pinas at sa mga kagaya mo ang may ganyang thinking.

Wag masyado maniwala sa mga boladas ng SA, minsan hindi nila alam kung ano minamarket nila.

Maybe warranty is void kung gagawin mo PUV pero i highly doubt it para habulin ka ng honda dahil ginawa mo silang taxi.

Honda Magallanes informed me about 5 years ago when I purchased my Civic FD that they will deny you of parts, services and warranty should you make it a taxi. Actually I find that to my advantage.

Back to topic, base model of mobilo is almost the same price as totl ertiga. Well obvious naman kung sino ang mas bang for buck.

some consumers believe that if it is priced higher than the competition, it must be of better quality.
some people feel better if their car model is not being used as a taxi.

well, my choices are price-driven..
and taxi use, to me, means more readily available, cheaper parts, more knowledgeable mechanics..

truly, vanity is the opposite of practicality.
