Hi guys I need help..
I will be buying a family car. compact MPV i think is great choice kasu anung magandang model? What do you prefer, in terms ng lahat lahat including maintainance cost, fuel effieciency etc.? hanggang 800k lang cguro budget ko. Mejo alangan ako sa Mobilio baka masyado magastos.

Dont buy the current mobilio. The new updated mobilio is much better.

Are you planning on getting a manual or automatic transmision?

I owned 2016 Mobilio AT - Magastos talaga, 500 pesos a week (School, Home, Mall, Palengke, sundo). PMS pa every after 6 months 5k-6k. after a year and a year Insurance nanaman 15-25K. may pa washing2 pa na mahigit 1.5 to 2hours. then you need to keep extra money just incase magkaron ng problema sa sasakyan or ikaw sa sasakyan ng iba and vise versa.

IMO, sa lahat ng sasakyan parepareho ang kaso no matter what type of sasakyan pa yan : ) pero ung convenience naman ay sulit, you feel safer than commuting, just drive defensively.

My experience is 11kpl for Manila. 15 kpl for the highway.

Yes lahat ng sasakyan may positive and negative, may ibang tao na ayaw at gusto, so depende nalang sa preference ng tao, my point is mostly you need to pay extra for you convenience.
So kapag may sasakyan syempre nandyan talaga ang gastos. If income generating naman ang sasakyan then even lang : )

Frustrating din yun Avanza sa highway. Tried both 1.5G AT and 1.3E AT sa highway.
- Feels flimsy and not so stable (Feeling due to tall height and skinny width)
- Slow (I think engine speed is around 3,000 rpm)
- Not really economical

This was the VVT-i engined Avanza, not sure about the updated one but I'm sure the overall feel
is almost the same

Not really... it depends on a lot of factors like your driving habits and traffic conditions just to name a few.

Suggest ko KIA Carens 2014 manual model. Baka meron seller sa 800k bracket. Pwede mo e lift ang suspension kung gusto mo mdyo tumaas. Easy sa wallet kapag nag fill up ng diesel fuel. Satisfied 2014 model owner here. Yan eh kung OK sa yo ang 2nd hand car.

mag bank loan ako. mejo mabigat ata pag 2nd hand car tpos same value. mgkakatalo sa interest rate.. kung may pera lang ako br v sana. kasu yung presyo mag 1m na. 😀

I own an ERtiga GL 2015. For my purpose, it fits the bill. BUT... baka ma frustrate ka sa bagal ng acceleration niya vs the typical sedans.

With that said... it is one stable ride. I can retain the speed I built up despite the typical morning rush because I can change lane QUICKLY with confidence.

So again, ano ba purpose mo. Dyan ka babalik at babalik eh. Do you want power? Mobilio and the like. Do you want the badge? Avanza, Mobilio. You just need a 7 seater to get you from point a to b? Maybe an Ertiga. Do you want safety features? Maybe an Ertiga (all seats have seat belts). Do you want cargo space? Ertiga, Avanza. The list goes on. At the end of the day, you have to choose based on either gut, or based on a ton of research... then going with your gut. lol

Rode the ertiga, masarap sya sakyan, kahit 3rd row, ok na ok ang upo ko. 5'10" ako fyi.

With the 1.4L engine, yes, mabagal sya, pero trapik naman e.

ertiga or avanza yung pinagpipilia namin. tpos pumunta kami sa toyota and suzuki since mgkatabi lang cla.. nainlove ako sa ertiga.. haha.. kaya mukhang yan na kukunin namin. kelangan na lng nmin mabenta yung lumang sasakyan tpos kuha na kmi. magtataas dn daw ng presyo yung toyota soon.. at walang available na unit daw. kaya dun na kmi sa suzuki.. haha. yung dati namin isa minivan ma suzuki. kaya sa tingin satisfied na kmi dun sa 1.4 .
