I also read and heard it also from other owners na mahal daw cost ng pms ng everest, but if you have the money to buy a PPV then you can afford their pms.

The pms prices vary depending on the casa and what you opt in or opt out of. My 10k PMS for my Everest was around P5,700+ and my 20K was around P12,900+.

Oh. Mas naniniwala pako dito eh kaysa yung hindi nagbabago yung presyo ng pms pagdating ng 10k, 20k, 30k and so on kms tapos hindi ganun kataas yung price eh we all know na notorious ang ford pagdating sa ganyan.

By the way how is the PMS/maintenance cost of wildtrak?
    mUx PMS at 1.5T km - P3500

Ranger PMS at 5k - almost 9k ata

So san diff? Sa oil. ford only run fully synthetic, while Isuzu use regular isuzu oil

In terms of FC, I average 9.2km/liter on the Wildtrak while 12.3km/liter on the bluepower. Considering that ford uses FA oil mas matipid pa din regular oil ng Isuzu. The figures I posted are from my computer trip meter. I dont bother manual compute na since kaya nga diesel na para wala na feel feel ba para ka naka - taxi metro sa fc lol

Ang problema ko ngaun eh yun Ford Explorer ko, kasi average of 35km / 100L , that's like 3km/liter.

But I tell you these diesels today no match talaga sa Ford V6 even of yesteryears in terms of arangkadahan .

    -----

In terms of maintenance outside warranty / casa, Ford is not expensive. In. fact mas expensive pa nga Honda . my Ford Explorer eddie bauer is one of the cheapest maintenance cars ko , tipong 3k/year or every 10Tkm .

The one that thing I noticed is even more than 10 years ago, solid ang suspension design ng mga Ford. Solid na comfy pa. Unlike with the Japs, solid nga tagtag naman .

Both my ranger and explorer, sarap sumakay and hindi takot salubak

Ford requires air filter change every 10k kms or 6 months to protect “daw” the turbo plus add ons na hindi kailangan kaya mahal. Owner can opt not to like me. Regular pms cost was around 8-9k. Pag may ibang filters like air, fuel and cabin, it would go up to 12k-16k depending sa casa. Advantage sa ford every 6 months or twice a year ka lang pupunta sa casa.

Add ko lang Banawe has like 3 to 4 Big suppliers of Ford Parts, both genuine Motorcraft as well as Replacement American perofrmance parts like Moog and Coniseal among others. And since it's american well catalogued ang parts niya sa mga websites sa us, so easy to cross-reference part numbers sa amazon or even autozone. Pwede mo mapadala dito wait ka lang maybe a month or less.

So nothing to fear with aging Fords, and also There are like 3 or 4 Ford specialsits shops dito satin, even equipped with ford proprietary computer scanners and diagnostic equipments.

Gone are the days that only Japs are reliable, now Ford is as splid as reliable too.

Sa nakikinita ko medyo mas madugo ang bago Fords ngaun vs sa old Ford in terms of parts. For example, I ordered a clutch fan sa banawe. They misquoted me 12k+ daw ang clutch fan, yun pala akala nun shop personnel eh naka everest ako, sabi ko explorer 2005, sa hayun 7500 lang naman clutch fan ng Explorer.

Pero nagtanong tanong naman ako ng avg clutch fan cost mitsu or even toyota sa Banawe, eh around 12k territory din so at par lang with the Ford.

So what Did I learn, since la pa nman 2 years ranger ko, di ko pa problema siguro, pero pag nagaout of warranty na , mas mahal ang mga pyesa ng mga new car models ngaun. Tsk tsk even sa Banawe na yan mapa Toyota pa yan or Ford.

So brace yourselves folks, matinde talaga ang inflation ngaun. If you gonna pay like 45k per month on installment on a new PPV, then like 40k annual insurance divide by 12 months = 3.3k mo, then avg 9k pms every half year or 1500 / month. Then LtO reg pegged at 5k per year or P400 / month .

You are looking at 45k installment + 3.3k inurance + 1.5k PMS + 400 LTO reg = P50k+ monthly cost of owning a PPV. Excluded pa dyan of course, the fuel and carwash cost.

That's not bad, nagulat nga ako when a friend said yung 15k pms nya umabot ng almost 20k, sabi ko nga sa kanya baka daming add ons nilagay ang CASA that you can opt out naman.

    And

Drum shell 5W-30 synthetic oil daw gamit ng ford casa, so by economies of scale laki tubo ng ford dealers in terms of change oil . I tried shell before sa Explorer, mas mahina hatak kaysa sa original Motorcraft Oil.

Since new naka motorcraft oil pre-install, nun na service-an naging shell na, medyo humina hatak.
