    Watsup Tsikoters?

Need your expert advise. Especially those who have experienced driving either of the 2.

I'm planning to get a base 4x2 SUV na manual kasi un lng kaya ng budget at 1.3M (max budget). I checked, asked and researched online and it appears ang pinakamura na Pick-up based SUV at the moment is MUX (1.37) and Everest (1.399). I checked with their respective SA's and puede daw cla magbigay ng cash discount so pasok sa budget. Note that their SRP is pre-TRAIN law kasi old stocks pa nmn un units. I'm planning to buy pick-up din kaso parang sayang un bed for daily city driving. Gusto ko kasi un go anywhere. I currently have hatch ngaun as my daily driver and un ang limitation ng tsikot ko especially pag out of town drives.

What do you guys think about this 2? Which would you recommend based on my needs below?

    - Fuel efficiency
    - Reliability and long term maintenance cost. which has lower PMS cost. I'm planning to have this for around 10 years so serviceability outside casa is also
    essential (i.e. Parts and labor)
    - Ride Comfort
    - Looks

These 4 lng nmn main criteria ko since I believe power is sufficient for these 2 kasi nasa Pinas lng nmn tau. I'm all for practicality kaya I'm leaning towards MUX although admittedly mas maraming features and Everest. Although di cya masyado deal breaker for me kc nice have's lng nmn cla. For looks pareho lng cla for me although parang mas pogi si everest.

    * Note may palabas na daw na 1.9 MUX next month according to my SA so need ko ata hintaying dn un. Im not sure sa pricing though.

Ou nga sir eh. Pero un catch nmn daw dun is baka puede cla magbigay ng additional 50k discount sa old model na 2.5LS-A and most probably daw un 1.9 is around 1.4M na daw although ang claim is around 19% na mas fuel efficient ito. So I'm not sure if that's a good justification to ipon muna and get this instead.

What do you mean fuel sipping sickness? Known issue ba to for all MUX engines?

I think mas mura ang pag maintain ng mux compared everest... and wait for 1.9 para mas maka mura ka sa old stocks... [emoji16]

I'd pick the Everest between the two, value for money and safety reasons na din.

Yung base model mu-X yata ang pinaka mahal na modern vehicle without ABS. That alone is a deal breaker for me.

1 had both 6at and 6mt wala naman difference sa fuel consumption. I think it defends upon your driving skill[emoji12]

since I have both bluepower and wildtrak. I can attest that mas masarap i-drive ang wildtrak kaysa bluepower. pano pa kung naging everest yun wildtrak. so primitive the Isuzu, parang late ng one generation sa driving mechanics as compared to the Ford. or maybe because, naka EPS na ang ranger and everest. pero hinde din eh sa suspension, mas maganda pa din Ford.
