    Eh

Agree clang 2 kc un parng bang for the bucks.

Eto din daw according to ISUZU is their way to prolong engine life. Try reading B10 certification ng ISUZU engine for MUX...

Newer engines are getting lower displacements yet they produce more output.

Nagiging mahal PMS dahil mahal Air filter, fuel filter and cabin filter pag sa casa mo kukunin. Air filter nasa 3.5k sa casa... So palo agad 12k un.

Hehe.. Cabin filter every 3 months or so, allergic eh, gusto ko fresh.. Haha..

For me, normal lang cost ng regular PMS nito. Especially if out of warranty na si TS at sa mga gas stations or sa motec, servitek, rapide, etc.. mo na ipapagawa. Nothing too fancy or expensive.
according from both ford bgc and ford commonwealth di daw pwede mag skip ng air filter change. kahit 3.5k km lang tinakbo ng everest ko they were insisting on changing the air filter or else void ang warranty. di pwede sourced outside casa kahit oem pa.

my friend who has a 2.2 eve also reported a 10k km pms cost of P14.5k. that was when the air filter was only P3.5k. P5k na ngayon ang air filter ng eve at the casa, even though you can get it at ebay for p1.6k.

my last oil change, oil filter and general checks ( all those blah blah blah they list down at the casa and charge you for it) only cost P5800 at Motech.

    anyway, btt.
the only thing i don't like about the muX is the blue power thing. the only time i will consider buying a "blue" vehicle of any brand is when it becomes a regular item sold in gas stations nationwide.

Thanks. Once the adblue thing starts to trickle down in our country. Isuzu might need to change the name of their engine. Hehehe

so hayun, hangga't hinde sila mag-aadjust. wag pansinin yan dalawa car manufacturers na yan

Need your expert advise. Especially those who have experienced driving either of the 2.

I'm planning to get a base 4x2 SUV na manual kasi un lng kaya ng budget at 1.3M (max budget). I checked, asked and researched online and it appears ang pinakamura na Pick-up based SUV at the moment is MUX (1.37) and Everest (1.399). I checked with their respective SA's and puede daw cla magbigay ng cash discount so pasok sa budget. Note that their SRP is pre-TRAIN law kasi old stocks pa nmn un units. I'm planning to buy pick-up din kaso parang sayang un bed for daily city driving. Gusto ko kasi un go anywhere. I currently have hatch ngaun as my daily driver and un ang limitation ng tsikot ko especially pag out of town drives.

What do you guys think about this 2? Which would you recommend based on my needs below?

    - Fuel efficiency
    - Reliability and long term maintenance cost. which has lower PMS cost. I'm planning to have this for around 10 years so serviceability outside casa is also
    essential (i.e. Parts and labor)
    - Ride Comfort
    - Looks

These 4 lng nmn main criteria ko since I believe power is sufficient for these 2 kasi nasa Pinas lng nmn tau. I'm all for practicality kaya I'm leaning towards MUX although admittedly mas maraming features and Everest. Although di cya masyado deal breaker for me kc nice have's lng nmn cla. For looks pareho lng cla for me although parang mas pogi si everest.

    * Note may palabas na daw na 1.9 MUX next month according to my SA so need ko ata hintaying dn un. Im not sure sa pricing though.
Sa kwento mo, looks like mu-x fits you.

Ford malolos and marilao ako pa PMS sir. Okay naman SA and techs dun. Try mo dun sir next time, kaso I see nilabas mo na pala ang pms mo.

Typical 30k/18month pms will force you to replace air filter and fuel filter nga naman pero, not in my case.

Haha

Usually mahal yan even in other casas.

LOL

Dont worry pareho tayo, gusto lang natin sulit.
But between orig oil filter na 450 and non-orig filter na 300, i'll get the 450 since engine life ang usapan.
But if that's just a cabin filter, i'd get the cheaper replacement one in a heartbeat since aircon filter lang naman.

Lugi? Sa labor palang 4.4 na, it will only took them max 3 hrs of work with 2 technicians with mostly doing visual inspections
